Perhaps this was talked about before...

I know what to do with emulation when it comes to a computer but I wanted to know if it was possible to put a Nintendo64 emulator on my PS3. If so, how do I do it?

Hopefully this is a permissible question. If not, could someone guide me in the right direction for reference?

I've seen a PS3 running an Amiga emulator through Linux, I think it's likely that any emulator that can be run on Linux can be run on a PS3, so long as you have a PS3 that has Linux.

I've heard that if you do that with your PS3, you won't be able to use the PSN.

No idea. Someone here said that they stopped selling the ones with Linux anyway.

yeah the new slims can not install linux at all. I'm really surprised the PS3 hasn't been hacked yet.

I don't have a slim. It was a gift when it first came out. I'll figure it out later.

PS3 has not been hacked. It most likely will never be hacked due to all the security checks in the system. Your best bet is to get a good version of Linux and run emulators on there. No, Linux will not in any way interfere with PSN.
