If she's accusing you of hitting her then fuck it...hit her.

No, hitting a women is just not right, that something a psycho would do, but not something a strong man would do. It's best just to take no notice of her and give her no second thoughts at all, I mean none at all. :P

Deal with it and move on. Watch some porn, go to a gentlemen's club, or go fishing. Lift some weights or whatever.

That's what I would do back when I was in high school. It gets old after a while, and I don't have as much free time as I used to cuz I work alot of the time and when school starts that will take up time too, what Im saying is what do I do on my down time. Like im a big dude, so it's not like I can just jump back in the game as if it was nothing, my ex was the opposite, so it's not like ehh whatever here comes another bitch, not saying I wont find another, what Im saying is that Im back to square one, but the thing is I don't wanna make all the mistakes I've made in the past. I can't move on to a new girl until im done with the old one.

Now cominus, Will is right about one thing. It takes time. Ride the waves and go through the emotions. But aside from that point, YOU are the one responsible for making things happen. Make some adjustments where you see error. Concentrate on what you like to do. What your passions are. So you've went through a rough relationship and the law is involved. There are still ways for you to change the outcome. Don't depend on other people or so called friends. Sometimes you have to be alone in the world to get to know yourself.

Have you ever seen I love you man? Im that guy, paul rudd, I've always had g/fs and no real friends, well maybe a couple but like I've said they've got other shyt going, ok Im like both guys, paul and that other tall dude, if you don't know what I'm talking about watch the movie, then you'll see where Im coming from.

Get OUT of the house.

Her dad has cop connections so my whole family is telling me not to drive/be alone because anything can happen, he was able to raise my bail high, $20k, which was rediculous high compared when I talked to other guys in there, put it to you like this, some guy was charged with domestic violence and got $10k, some dude tried stealing a car got $3k, another dude got caught with a bag of weed $1.5k, you get where im going with this? It just sucks, we used to live together, but the bitch had shyt going on behind my back, she's a fucking whore but I loved her....

I've been there, and it's a fucking nasty place.

*Most* of the advice here has been really good. All I can say to you is this:

- even if you don't feel like you can pull through this, you really can.

- even if it doesn't feel like you are healing (because it hurts so much), you actually are healing up, beneath the pain...you just can't feel it!

The second point was the one that surprised me the most when it happened to me. My pain masked my progress.

Good luck in getting through this. Take care.

Ken, there's only one thing I can say in response to yours. Everyone has different adversity.

True... but Ken just went, and is still dealing with something that totally trumps this. The point he was making, is Cominus will make it through. Ken knows well enough. I'm just sayin'

Now cominus, Will is right about one thing.

Pfft! :P Im right about alot of things... :P

Indeed. Good follow up.

Yea man, although getting on with your life is key... Perhaps focusing on your own shit instead of worrying about filling the gap she left. For now that is. I'm just suggesting man, take no offense.

Yeah my post was part sarcasm...thought that was obvious.

I'm at a point now where I am moving on with my life, I'm intelligent and I process things quickly, so I know I have to pick my ass up and move!

Does it still hurt? Fuck yes, it will ALWAYS hurt...just come one day it will only hurt when I'm forced into a position where I have to remember.

So far things have been ok, people understand my position and my rationale. I've already seen one girl, if you wanna call it that...and I'm out partying with friends on the weekend again, something I haven't done in like 5 years. Strange, but like I said...MOVE ON!

I'm on med for deppression - horribile sneaky illness it is. it runs in my family.

As for girls - more trouble than they are worth most of the time.

Same here. It sucks.

And guys are just as much trouble.

Will, I wasn't meaning for it to sound like it was some competition or "trumping" when it comes to individual pain. I was just trying to make it clear that everyone's problems are far more severe in their perspective than of another. I understood his sarcasm and I definitely admire the courage and strength Ken has. I was just making a minor point.

I think egocentric are the most troubled and gender plays no role in this at all. Don't worry I didn't say you were egocentric or anything like that! I find the whole gender bashing thing quite narrow actually and I find the word "bitch" quite arrogant and discriminating.
