Cannot connect to WIFI using ANY homebrew apps.

Well I have had my r4 for about two weeks. I just stumbled upon the win2ds. My DS connects to my wifi connection fine when I play DS games. However, when I try to use DS wifi apps (and I mean ANY, I.e. Win2ds, DsOrganize, DSVNC, DSAIM, etc.) it cannot connect to my connection. I have searched for hours looking for someone with a similiar problem. I came up dry. So I am throwing my hands in the air and asking for help.
