I have the newer model 360 with HDMI support. And the below link is the t.v. i am buying next week. That's why i wanted to know if the HDMI picture quality is better than vga etc.Because i already have a vga cable for my 360.Just wanted to know if it's worth getting a HDMI cable.I am using the optical out feature on my vga cable and plugging it into my home theatre system.

HDMI is a better picture signal than VGA. It is digital, VGA is only analogue so go figure.

However HDMI, in my opinion, is only a big deal at 1080p. Neither the 360 nor that TV really support that kind of resolution. Since you already own a VGA cable, which is better than the standard Component HD AV cables, I'd say stick with it. You won't notice enough of a difference to warrant the additional cost of an HDMI cable.

If you do get a HDMI cable their's really not much of a difference in the quality.

Mine will say it's 1080p but I can't see any change in it from when it

was 1080i.
