Get a PS2 and mod-chip it, all my downloaded Japanese games work fine on it

okay, i got ps2 slim,

where do i get mod chips from...

plz tell me i dont have to buy it online....

Then d/l ?.....hmmm...

I'm not even sure what to tell you. For me theres a store near me that does modchips in everything, they'll flash 360's and even sell you burned games for $10. You might have to do some searching in the local paper.

Thats how I found mine.

 

If you do buy a chip online learn to solder real good first or get ready to buy another PS2

No need to soldier anymore all the newer PS2 modchips are soldierless. Just mount to to board with screw and attach ground.

 

Even better, I guess google a soderless chip and your all set!

Shoma you don't need a modchip, all you need is Swap Magic and a trick tool (a Flip-Top, slide card, etc). I do recommend you get Swap Magic v3 and a flip-top, because that's all it needs to run imports and backups. It's cheap and easy to install.
