Windows API emulator for Unix

 

This is release 0.9.58 of Wine, a free implementation of Windows on Unix.

 

What's new in this release (see below for details):

- The default version is now Windows XP.

- Many Richedit improvements.

- Beginning of jscript dll support.

- Shell folders now respect XDG directory configuration.

- Many translation updates.

- Lots of bug fixes.

Can you guys tell me if FBA (Final Burn Alpha) works on/in Wine? :D

the emulation works in wine, but I get a lot of errors concerning the gui (which makes it crash in-game) mainly from the menu (Game, Video, Audio, etc)

That sucks. :D Well, thank you for the answer :D

 

Can you run programs with switches in Wine?

 

Would you mind trying this out? It should start the games full-screen.
