The History of Windows Sounds and Logos

I found this video on Digg today. It just goes to show how much has changed over time and how these nostalgic sounds and logos bring back so many memories.

 

It's a short video clip -- almost 2 minutes.

 

 

I'm torn between the Windows 95 intro sound and Windows 98 intro sound.

I only remember the 98 startup sound and the annoying kids laughing when win 2000 shut off

hah i remember most of those (Goddamn those NT bootups where annoying) the 95 and 98 ones where pretty cool, I remember when i upgraded i changed it back for awhile for some reason and then stuck with the 98 one. (the sound i mean)

I did that to my win 98 machine so when it shut down it would play the death melody from Final Fantasy Online, Made it seem like it was dying

Hahahaha, that was superb! I think I put the voice "I'm too young to die/I'm not supposed to die"
