veristic Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Robert Downy Jr. is a good actor, I have faith in the movie. And Jon Favreau i'm pretty sure isn't as incompetent as Uwe Boll or Paul W. S. The alcoholism doesn't develop until later in Stark's life, and seeing as how this is a movie about the origins of Iron Man, it probably won't be touched on until the end of the movie as a sort of foreshadowing to a sequal.
