Mooney Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 So I've been playing HL2 on my older comp (Athlon 64 3200+, Radeon 9800 PRO, 1GB RAM) and it has been running fine with pretty high video settings. Now, I have installed it (through Steam) on my newer comp (Athlon 64 X2 4200+, Radeon X1600 PRO, 1GB RAM) and I am getting glitches up the wazoo. At first I didn't panic. I thought all I had to do was change the video settings. So, I set them all to what the game recommended for my system. Still, the glitches persisted. Now I start to get annoyed. But, keeping my patience, I updated my drivers. I got all the latest drivers and software for my video card, and launched the game again. Now, something new was happening. So now I am royally pissed and have no idea what to do. I'm probably missing something totally obvious, but I would appreciate if someone could help me out here.
