The Theory on pornography

Recommended Posts

After a long heated discussion with my fellow collegues, we've come to the conclusion that porno is meant for the single men/women. Now one of my friends is married and he still dabs into it, could it be that pornography is a addiction which is no better than smoking and if left unchecked will destroy the lives of all who dwell (but dont sell) it?

What i want to know is how can a substance in which is not tangible be in high demand by the vast majority of the world? I know someone watches it (especailly those who post pics in the "Hot Chick" thread) care to expound on it.

And excluding religous point of views, what bad can come from it?

*P.S. - This is a liable and valid topic by the laws of the forum*

You can't die by watching pornography, that's dumb.

You tell me what's attractive about seeing members of the opposite--or same sex if that's what you're into--getting naked. Anybody male gets a boner.

Bad could be getting caught watching porn?

Now, I gotta ask, have you got a penis?

The best theory I've read about porn has been the one at the intellectual whores web site, but I'll put it in my own words.

In porn, men are usually seduced by the women: she prances around dressed in a skimpy outfit and dictates ("flock me!", etc). For a man that's a fantasy because in real life it's kinda supposed to be the other way around: men are supposed to have power and make the decisions.

P.S It's just a theory.

I once heard about a study that said men produce more sperm while either engaging in group sex or watching pornography. :P I think it had something to do with the male's primal urge to compete...

"I can Skeet more than some guy in Germany who i dont know!!!"

I like that one though^^.

But would child pronograhy and all that sick crap be considered just part of your primal urges. We dont know the age of those monkeys and rabbits that just hump all day so...

No, I think the nature of pedo's is cyclic. For ex, someone might sexually molest a child because they were molested as a child and they may be see that as a way of not allowing the victim to lead a good life in comparison to theirs. Or they may have seen a parent or another adult close to them perform the same acts and do it themselves. There shouldn't be anything primeval about it.

i quit watching porn a few years ago.

i personally felt that in a way, it was desenitzing me... and you'll even observe the trends, for most people, who haven't seen a girl naked, they want to see a girl naked, once they're used to it, they want to see her masturbate, then once they're used to taht, they want to see her flocked, then when they're used to that, they want to see her flocked in the ass... etc and so on and so forth.

i'm one of those romantics that believe sex should only be for love (or there's no difference between us and animals) and should only be to express love to someone you wouldn't feel bad about being with and not flocking ( in other words, you'd be ok being around this person without pootang).

oh and wierdy, on your child molestation cycle, then who molested the first kid?

There nothing bad about softcore porn or nudity (only female), however if you look at hardcore porn it is just plain stupid I mean it kind of half-ghey watching it. I prefers viginer over something else, I don't even like saying that word. :P

I don't know, it was just an example. I just think that there may be a lot of different reasons why they do what they do. You know how strange people can be.

[edit] About the comment about it being bad to catch someone wanking to porn: I think it could depend on the porn. I mean with all of the modern trends that involve guys acting in a flamboyant manner, I think religious parents should be the least bid happy, not that you'd be watching straight, les, or female masturbation porn, but that you're not gay. You might be punished, but you'll probably get a steak for dinner or something. Besides, such a thing as catching someone masturbate can teach the person (who just barges in) the importance in knocking before entering someone else's room.

I guess some people can just say "dude! You like to see hot chicks naked!"

THen again what would explain the straight guys who hate porn? Yagami was making some seroius sense. You think dudes just jumped into farm porn, those are the results of waay too much porn to the point of boredom.

I'm a writer and the main reason i hate porn movies is because i have never seen such crappy plots reach public media and MAKE MONEY!

i dont think its primal. Scientists say masturabtion is normal because it's common. I think we've become adjusted to blaming our pervertedness on our genetics. Those wierdos who watch pornos A - Z have the basic knowledge to call themselves pervets and not normal.

I think there's soo many more things that releases stress than girls screaming and moaning "f*** me!"
