Learn your decimals!

First of all. Here's a refresher

Two cents (of a dollar) = $0.02 (2/100)

Two thousandths of a cent (of a dollar) = $0.002 (2/1000)

The above is what Verizon was supposed to charge the guy: two thousandths of a cent (of a dollar) for each kilobyte used.

However, they listed the rate as 0.002 cents (convert it to dollars and you get $0.00002)

...and that's why it is important to learn about decimals and decimal places.

I got about 12 minutes in before I realized the clip is nearly 2 hours long! How retarded can you be to not realize the difference?

The conversation lasts around 27 minutes. The rest is just empty filler. But a hilarious and worthwhile conversation nonetheless....******* idiots at Verizon.

Haha, good find. My Pre-Algebra and Algebra teachers use to hassle the students about their decimal places. My Algebra teacher gave a story of how she asked a man in Publix for .5 pounds of meat and the man ended up giving .05. When she asked for a correct amount he said that it was, she then asked for 0.5 again without the 0 before the 5 and the man told her "There is no difference take your meat and go home". I laugh at it every time.
