Scanlines do have a purpose: to simulate the TV effect and lower the requirements to run something at full speed.

 

Scanlining simulates interlacing but it really isn't the same on a monitor than on a TV screen, that's why it looks "crappier" in emulators

Can a mod advise if I can put a link to the other site?

It contains dead romlinks.

 

That's a lot of perfects for a new handheld. Now if if they could work DS as fast. :o

Downloaded the "emu" from this link. The main exe is an ocremix MP3 renamed into an exe.

 

I didn't bother starting up the emu.

I can't even download it, says its blocked. Looks like not worth the hassle. I can't even say "at least you got a song out of it". A well thought-out hoax involving 2 web sites and a couple of forums. At least we know, thanks guys.
