Facts of life, Smaller resolution = less overall space used. Basic conversion methods of those who know. Sound can be at a high bitrate while te screen resolution can be the smallest it can be and it will still be awkwarding.

talk about something you know about. I watched dawn of the dead off the memstick and played about an hour of lumines then listened to about 45 minutes of mp3s and my battery still had 60% juice. when I first got my psp I watched spiderman 2 umd then played darkstalkers for a few hours. my battery has never died on me yet. I read someone did a test where they put a one hour video clip on repeat and just let it go and the psp didn't run out of juice for over 5 hours.

It has various screen settings. A few guys in Aki disctrict in Japan tested how the long PSP lasted with everything on max while playing the same things over and over on a train ride. Conclusion = 6 hours!

Of course, there are many variables to consider such as screen brightness, volume amount, and processing handle.
