All the ones that come in the DSemu package work for me, except for mnc-smb.gba, which crashes.

If you don't mind me asking, what the hell is that file? I've never seen it before!

When trying to open a ROM that's name is 48 (including extension) characters long or more, the emulator crashes instantly. I guess this is some kind of buffer overflow.

It was indeed a buffer overflow (affecting the full file and pathname); fixed yesterday.

And robbbert: You know I can't do anything with a Watson log, or any other log, to be fair

To all: I'll probably be putting in more test ROMs that (should) run fine, soon. Maybe some that crash it hard as well, just for variety.

Sorry about that. It was some other ROM that I must have accidentally put in the same folder with dsemu.

I was just messing around with dsemu and found that this ROM works.

It's not a commercial ROM, so I don't think I'll get in trouble for posting it.

Thanks for fixing buffer overflow.

I was just messing around with dsemu and found that <3d tank> works.

Looks great. I thought it'd do more for the HUGE size of ROM, but heck. Anything 3d (even if it runs dog slow) is good.

Two9A, first of all let me congratulate you on your constant progress.

I'm Beta Tester of Glide64, which i presume you know what it is :peopleseybrow:.

Anyway, if you would like me to, i would also like to beta test your emu :D.

Consider me as your servant from now on.

So just ask what you want me to test, and i will. I'll also do some testing on my own, and build a report.

:)

Edit: You may know it, but here's a sound demo page for when you start working with sound. http://tssf.i-web.net/gbastuff/

The demo, Dario.bin, works in the way that it doesn’t hang the emu, but what it displays is just wrong.

Indeed, since i've also tried a sprite test, and of course, just a blank screen.

I'm guessing sprites are simply not rendered, which is the wise thing to do until they are implemented.

Incredible :P

Mario 64 DS shows some scrolling lines at the start, then hangs the emu .

Then Metroid, hangs with the following ops:

As far as I know a Mario DS ROM does not exist. DarkFader, I believe, is the only dev with a card reader that can dump a ROM (another one is in the works here). Plus, isn't it impossible that DSEmu could emulate a DS game since I don't think any support for the ARM9 has been coded?

In short, that is not a real dump of Mario.
