    RockNES 2.40 Released!

    RockNES is a NES emulator for DOS & Linux. Only the DOS binary has been updated.

     

    News:

    * More internal changes and rewrites;

    * NES joypad latch was not being cleared if the input type is joystick;

    * Fixed a mistake on movie play status (bleh);

    * Fixed a stupid loading bug for trained ROMs;

    * Fixed ppu address reset behaviour (Rambo is okay);

    * Fixed MMC3 IRQs (yay, finally);

    * Allowed mapper IRQs to trigger on scanline 240 (fixes a few games);

    * Added a specific fix for Rad Racer games (the road is okay);

    * Fixed 8-sprites ppu flag;

    * Fixed filenames to dump chr data;

    * Small PSG and color emphasis/monochrome optimizations;

    * GFX corruption (like map#226) has been fixed;

    * Changed joypad data reading behaviour;

    * Changed to compile with the newest stable Allegro release;

    * Changed some filenames for dumping RAMs;

    * Minor core cleanups, bug fixes and cosmetic changes.

    Neco 0.11 Released!

    Neco is a PC Engine emulator for Windows & BeOS. Only the Windows binary has been updated.

     

    News:

    - Handle Zip files to load ROMs or skins

     

    Emulator (Video):

    - Backgrounds X/Y Masks -> Less weird gfx

    - Raster Compare -> Modification of a value -> Better vertical scrolling

     

    Emulator (CPU):

    - Banks Masks on TAM -> Less crashes

    - Interruptions -> Addresses pushed are not decremented

    - Some instructions fixed (TRB($1C))

     

    GUI:

    - Menu Added

    - More fonts (ViewBars)

    - Background Color or Image

    - Cursor Image

    - Minimization of views

    - File Dialog to open files

    - Key events restructuration (use of pointers to methods)

    - Surface Resizement

     

    Configuration File:

    - Set numbers of instructions to be displayed

    - Set the number of cycles to execute before starting Neco

    - Set a breakpoint

    :thumbsu:  well, i was happy when i was there, i was one of the first 100 members and loved it for about a year...

     

    then the popup blocker stopper, then the n00bs, then the attack thigymo, then the increasing ammount of popups, banners..

     

    when i started there there was 1 banner and NO popups..

    and a little roms site..

     

    Thats crazy to think Tim could mess everything up the way he did huh :wink::D.

    Good metaphor. You are rigth anyways what makes me angry is that I can't d/l roms or emus from A@H because of the damn add blocker script. Even so I told Tim I don't have any add blocker he always try to say that I have some kind of add blocker wicht isn't true I know my damn PC dammit. Tim is the kind of person that always wan't to be rigth stupid macho crap. Tim is the kind of person that gives a bad name to americans because all the time he proves his cockiness and his stupidty yet in his little world he always rigth.

    its getting out of hand with the ads

     

    Hell Tim Hickel don't even update his emulators like back in the day, now that crap seems to be really outdated, man his money hunger is takeing up all his time LOL.

    direct connect. :D  as long as you have files to share with others, it is the best. most hubs (servers) on direct connect dont require a specific type of files, so you could share basically anything, besides porn ofcourse. :thumbsu:  :D  i used to use winmx too, but soon got tired of all the leechers and bastards that wont share anything. none of this in direct connect. if someone wont share with you, just notify one of the ops (mods) in the hub and they will see to the problem by either making the fellow share or banning him/her from the hub. also, direct connect is more community based, which means if you make some friends in the hub, you are pretty much set up for getting whatever files hey have to share at anytime. its the best p2p proggy out at the moment in my opinion. :wink:  well, if you want to give it a try, you can start here : http://www.neo-modus.com. this is where you can download the program and read more about it. here are some hubs that i freaquent which you may find useful.     Yes indeed direct connect is the place to be no doubt about it, mainly if your looking mainly for software, pc games, isos, roms. It's all there plus some, and ME by the way thanks for the hubs :D.
