That's excellent. I've already put a link to the dsemu part of our forum onto 2 other high-profile boards. Now with everyone (?) on board, emulation of the DS can only get better.

hmm I tried the 4-3 relase yesterday and nearly everything caused a crash, including things that worked previosly.

I noticed that... Zinc seems to be missing quite a few sounds. When I was trying it out the other week there was no music in any game.

There's already a site legally selling roms - only Atari ones so far for a price of $2 to $6 each. They give you one free download when you join up. When I looked yesterday they only had 25 games.

Been down for hours. What happened?

The problem is nothing to do with mugen; rather it is a common error with XP.
What happens is the system deletes the autoexec.nt file, required for all 16-bit apps. so it needs to be restored.
1. Do a search for autoexec.nt on your C drive, you should find it under "Repair" folder I think its called.
2. Copy this file
3. Paste it into C:\Windows\System32
4. Right-click on the new file, properties, make it read-only (stops xp deleting it again)
5. Now your mugen should work.

Final Burn Alpha doesn't run in windows 95, already tried it.
Kawaks is the best so far. Nebula not bad either apart from a little bug (the window goes blank sometimes)

As far as DVD's go, I'm a complete n00000b.
I have absolutely no interest in movies, i'm looking at it from a data storage point of view.
There are, apparently, different formats, like +R and -R
Do the formats only apply to movies, or to any dvd?
Can any DVD recorder play and record any format?
Which format is best and why?
Are there rewritable dvd's?

Firstly congratulations on your achievements.
Your school system sounds so complex.
In Australia, at 5 years old, you spend a year at Kindergarten. Then the next 6 years at Primary School. Then the next 4 or 6 years at High School. At the 4-year mark, you do an exam called the School Certificate. You can leave and get a job then, or do the extra 2 years and get your Higher School Certificate, and maybe go to University if you wish.
This talk of O level, CI and JC hurts my head.
