    - Implemented "READ Q SUB-CHANNEL" operation to some extent

    - Revised implementation of VDC

    - Revised windowed screen modes

    - Improved compatibility

  3. Festalon is an NSF plug-in for Winamp, the changes are described below for version 0.4.0.

    - Fixed a rather stupid bug that could break loading of certain non-bankswitched NSFs

    - XMMS: Fixed a "bug" that was breaking the ALSA output plugin

    - Added partial NSFE support

    - Console: Altered which keys enable and disable channels. Listed in order of channel: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,)

    - Added code to allow NSFs with a specified load address lower than 0x6000 to play

    - XMMS: Fixed a bug which could cause severe problems on many output plugins

    - Console: Improved the correctness of the time reported(actual calculated

    - Time into the song rather than how long the song has been playing)

    - Console: Removed DOS support. Use Linux, crazy DOS people!

    - Added support for NSFs with multiple expansion sound chips. It may not sound perfect, due to errors in relative volume levels in Festalon being magnified between the sound chips

    - Massive source code cleanup and movement towards modularization. 0.4.0 will probably be a bit slower than 0.3.0

    - Removed the ugly NeoFill() hacks I used to get VRC7 sound working

  4. Reality Boy is a Nintendo Virtual Boy emulator for Windows. Below is the log of improvements in this version.

    - 12/16/04 - Fixed some windows bugs (dialog close box works, set title bar, etc). Save frame captures in rom directory. Removed the screen wrap fix, it broke to many other games. I desperatly need to redo the debug code to be more compatible to windows. I finaly got a fast enough computer to need speed throtling, I hacked a quick solution together. Someday I will make it optional on the command line.

    - 12/12/04 - I can't figure out the wraping problem, I have a psudo hack that is working for now, but I need to realy pin it down. I though maby there was a second set of overplane bits somewere but I can not find them. Im going to put this to rest after a thoural regresion test, I cant mess with it any more today. Anyway most games are 100% accurate now, and we only have 3 that are not playable.

    - 12/11/04 - Fixed a screen wrap bug in Normal BGMap mode, this broke teleroboxer and VFish. Also its horibly implemented now, need to make it smarter (and faster). Now I dont overwrite the screen capture files, todo: save the files in the proper directory in windows. Messed with direct screen draws, a lot of work is needed here. 3D-Tetris shows off a CPU bug, vertical lines get mangled. Now all bug fixes form Red Dragon are fully incorporated.

    - 12/04/04 - Made a comprehensive list of graphical bugs and started wittling them down. Most of the bugs come from not fully understanding how the objects wrap to the screen. I am confident that given the time the graphics system will be perfect by christmass (or nearly so).

    - 12/01/04 - Added a new keyboard mapping and made it the default. Cleaning things up for the oficial 0.8 release.

    - 11/26/04 - Fixed rotation finaly, there were several math bugs in Red_Dragon, but otherwise they had it right. I have a small number of bugs left to fix...

  6. gCubeFront is back!

The original was downloaded 42 times and not one person left any feedback...ah well, who cares, the 42 of you who did download it, I hope it worked and you enjoyed it!

As most of you will know gCube 0.3 was released recently, and it now has more options on the command line to allow greater control and compatability of the emulation. I have updated gCubeFront to incorporate these options (and a few other minor fixes) and figured i'd give it to you guys again.

You can find the new options in the "Advanced Options" window. Please be aware that the Refresh Delay box should only contain a numeric value, although the gCubeFront will accept...well...anything, gCube itself WILL NOT, I will create a check for it if people tell me they want one otherwise I'll assume you're all happy!

Run it in the directory with gCube.exe and enjoy!

    Cheers,

    Fox

P.S. If you do download it, please some sort of feedback!
