  1. I posted this before Bin ladens death maybe im a prophet.

WIll there ever be a pokemon that isnt turn based?

Will developers try to milk Portal and will we expect Portal 3 and 4?

WIll the new Wii system destroy ps3 and 360?!?!?!

Sorry got a lil carried away there.

  2. Forgot about a single man who disappeared for so long...

DOes that make me a bad American? Should have been counting the days we find him?

Starting to feel like patriotism is becoming fanboyism with a dash of capitalism.

But I love where I live though, not to sure on the landlords though.

  3. You could use a faster CPU, but it's not the problem with what you mentioned.

2GB of RAM? I would put more in, how do you know it didn't make a difference? Of course you won't notice sitting at the windows desktop, but it will help with drive swaps and load times etc in newer games. Stutters you may think are CPU/GPU related are likely drive swapping with large files, in games with seamless loading.

That 8500GT IS your huge bottleneck. The Mobility Radeon x1600 in my old laptop can run circles around it.

The I said the the extra 2 didnt help was because I bought them to help run dragon age faster thinking it was becuase of my RAM. WHen i maxed out to four the game still stuttered the exact same way as it did when I had two gigs. would have kept them(cuz they did hurt the pocket) if they helped the game run smoother.

And.... I didnt think my card was so sucky, lol.. ouch.

P.S - my bad bout posting in wrong section

  4. OKay so Im talking to my cool tech friend and he starts going about how the cool stuff pc gamers get with mods and stuff compared to PC.

He offered me to join him on some online left4dead2 on the PC.

I said my rig is too crappy to play current games and this is where I got confused:

    I have a

AMD Anthlon 64 X2 dual Core

    Processor 4000+ 2.10 ghz

Ram 2gb (had four and saw no difference)

And MY graphics card that I bought was a Nvidia 8500GT

HE told me that graphic cards usually handle all the work for games, So he said my dual core should be decent enough run most games and to not too pay too much attention to the specs verbatim. ANd I just saw a youtube vid of a guy running ME2 on the same video card so now Im confused cuz I remember I had a rough time running Dragon age Origins a long time ago when I tried it so Im like wtf.

He said I should just get new power supply and graphics cards and i should be okay, but am I able to do current games now? Tech buffs, help me out.

  5. I am excited about it too. I really like Splash Damage and the game has a cool unique art style and movement system. I like the team focused gameplay they are driving for. There are no one hit kill sniper shots which I think is great. I hate sniper assholes in multiplayer games.

    *Gasp*

    WhY I never!......

I think FPS are too run n gun these days. I love the concentration it takes to aim for the head and heart and how I can actually support my team on domination from afar and realzing that some pple are best not shooting. while some must be shot at all costs... and.....

    Snipers are just over-hated

  6. Unlike DAO the challenge is not....challenging...

From HArd to nightmare it just seems tedious with the constant waves of bad guys always spawning AROUND you they'll throw in some guy with absurd health we end just mashing on one guy after barely killing all the hundreds underlings...sigh

I love to be challenged but I dont feel rewarded when i overcome a dungeon in this one.

  7. Discuss....

    Trailer

    ITs coming out in May,

Love the whole free flow movement,

BUt heard that creators dint really have the snipers in mind for the game. Which is weird cuz I coulda sworn I saw sniping in the trailer.

In case you havent figured, Im all about sniping so this is a lil disappointing.

  8. What I really love about ME and DA is, its almost obvious that you're gonna replay it for nearly each different class.

Im loving my rouge, I started out with my bow and with was effective but once i started dipping my points into dual weapon... the battles becmae much more rewarding!

The only problme is I only have one warrior in my entire cast and so I have always bring the lady warrior wherever I go, and she's super loyal so I always piss her off with my "renegade" decisions.

I see its simplified, but "dumbed down" seems more of an insult rather accurate.

  9. You don't need to self-censor "whore".

Personally, I've never been that interested in Dragon Age. Mass Effect 2 gets me riled up, but not this. Lack of scifi perhaps...?

lol you know I thought "whore isnt that bad of a word", but just did it on instinct.

Pple have been saying that Dragon age 2 took alot of "lessons" from ME2 so you should at least try the demo.

  10. Well the game is out, I spent an enitre day and half playing it.

I took a break after I was pissed at my self being so unproductive for so a whole day but I cant deny.... It has me engaged in.

Now as far as the "dumb down" claims go, I beginning to see that "dumb down" means "alotta extra bs"

I loved the many ways i could armor my companions and I sometimes still do miss how when i find a new mage robe and I cant give it to my mate because all partner's armor upgrabable only. Then again, it was sooo tedious after every quest finding the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best armor to give about my teammates making sure not to forget the ones i didnt take with me. SO with that, it cancels out for me.

Combat works, its still strategic as f***, especially when nightmare it! Now as hard as DA:O? Ehhh thats a stretch, i think because the stop click way of playin was your only way of playing the game so DAO was much more unforgiving to difficulty. Also, enemies dont have the whole "Even though you dogeded the animation of the attack, a few seconds from now, you're still get hit". SO you get a few hits in and dodge an attack, rinse and repeat. However to counter this, you have to be on that person the whole time, so unless you tatic'ized your team so well where you dont need to manage them then you should have no problem.

    Lastly story,

MOre compelling but less immersive.... if that makes sense..

Unfortunalely I cant say my final words on it until im finishedm then i jsut may do a review.

    P.S - Isabella is such a who.Re!

  11. You can gain super bars by just breathing

You cannot. The only way to get meter is either by having a meter assist or actually hitting your opponent.

Um that was exaggeration, meaning that a couple combos will get you a full bar. Test how many five hit combos doe sit take to take to make a full bar.

Not to mention the tag combo
