I started playing DA:O on the pc and loved the game instantly.
The insane difficulty and rpg elements had me hooked. About 10 deaths in, it started to get a little tedious but I continued on. My first character was a warrior and I didn't build him right and I didn't know tactics so I had to learn fast.
Fast forward three semi cleared game runs and I'm still hooked. I recently bought the collectors edition on ps3 which included the expansion and all the dlc so I'm going to replay the game again just with a controller instead of mouse and kb.
I haven't heard any reviews or watched any gameplay about da 2 but I love the game and will be starting 2 soon.
Also I started mass effect on the pc and about 20 mins in, I got bored. I keep hearing good things about the game so I will not miss it up but it didn't grab me like others.

Do you people even know why everyone wants the classic Marvel 2 style? Because everyone in that fucking game is BROKEN. They don't care about the gameplay, they care if they can still lockdown fools with MSP or loop someone with Santhrax.
If thats the case we would still be running xmvsf. That game was broken as hell and they had the nerve to say Mvc2 wasnt as bad as that. I love xmvsf and that needs to be at evo again

The art direction isn't my cup of team and I really didnt care for tvc but its marvel baby so what can I say.
If marn, justin and the rest of the pros say its pretty good and like mvc2 then its good enough for me
Change is good when you make good changes, so far the changes are stupid and the direction they're going for clearly aiming for a TvC rehash. I'll give it a chance if there's a demo soon but I'm not giving in to buy it, and especially at $60USD MSRP. Never do I spent that much on a video game unless it's back in my N64 days where Zelda OOT/MM was worth that amount.Oh your gonna buy it, so stop all this nonsense. I only played tvc when it was a japanese game I didnt understand at all. I should download it and play it on my pc just to see how bad it is now that the american version is here

Just finished watching Batman under the red hood and it was great. I'm loving all the new Dc Movies their releasing

Its summer time nothing you can really do besides more fans or trying another location.
My gpu temps are usually in the 70s at max load and all of a sudden now I'm spiking at 110 when all of my other temps are about the same. I have a 9600gt which has some problems already but the card has been rock solid until this summer.
I'll be switching out to an aftermarket fan just cause I dont want any damage in the future if its not the summer.
No crashes or freezing either even at that high of a temp

Inky, does that fact frighten you? it's already a fact. Dated back when East Coast hype everyone up on MvC2 and it continue to spread like wildfire. It's been clarified that the majority love their Mahvel, TvC on the Evolution stream. What's there to argue? it's been around for years that the majority are blacks that's been hyping up the Mahvel scene to a point, it became super serious business that it just fell into ludicrousness.

FUCK THIS GAME... FUUUUCK THIS GAME aklsjfdlkjfsdasak.
The truth has to be said. This is yet another failed Crapcom experiment that go against my childhood. I was a die hard MvC2 fan/player and now Crapcom decided to crush my dream with this shit. First of all, first and foremost, I like to point out the huge similarities between this game and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. When I saw gameplay footage san trailer, I knew I FUCKING KNEW what it became. A fucking mugen like project of injecting marvel characters into the core Tatsunoko vs. Capcom gameplay engine. No matter how I look at it, I see resemblance of Tatsunoko in the gameplay. The Hyper combo animation, the flashy tag in, the combo fluid animation, the air combos, everything about this just shouts a rehash Tatsunoko vs. Capcom experiment. Let's not forget the FUgly cel-shaded graphics, bears no resemblance of the colorful sprites from MvC2. Down to the last fact is that the game did not exceed my expectations when they announced it would nowhere be the roster of MvC2 (56 Characters) but that's just a small gripe. The bigger issue here is the gameplay, and it feels nothing new to me. Sure, there's new nice characters like DeadPool that finally made it as a playable fighter but it does no make up for the fact about how much ass this game was developed. The way this game made just baffles me, every nooks and cranny made me made me think this game is a next-gen Mugen project that's in the making.

In my opinion the 2 franchises are incompatible. (3d and 2d, "realistic" and Projectile, ect.) the reason CvS works so well is because they are so similar. character wise and even down to input style. 1/4 circles and charges. any SF player can figure out the basics of a SNK character within a round. And vice versa. Tekken's input style is completely different. the fighting style is completely different. just throwing characters into a new engine they weren't designed for is just asking for trouble.
SF characters have about 18 normals and 2~4 specials. Tekken characters have what... 40+ normals? and 4~8 throws.

Man it's about fucking time someone agreed with what I've been thinking ever since I saw that damn trailer. But no, echoman and many others knew this was the wet dream they been dying for. It was one of my dream game but at the time, I was too young and did not disregard the compatibility of each game and the core elements of both franchise. I stress this enough when I talked to my friends and I'll say it again.. you can't mix chicken(Tekken) with SSF4 engine, IT JUST DON'T WORK LIKE THAT. Sure, Namco x Capcom isn't a fightng game, but that worked sort of like Cross Edge and other crossover RPG games. Now here's what's been bothering me, both games are nothing alike. That's my statement and I stand by it. They are completely different fighting games; different design, controls scheme, core gameplay, music, etc.
Now how can anyone accept the fact that a game like Chicken, each char donning a moveset of 50-90 can possibly be nailed down to a limited of 6 or more? I just can't see that works. More of the fact that Chicken has always been synonymous with it's footsies into juggle games and the series has escalated with extended combos; OTG juggles, wall combos, stage collapse juggles. Let's not forget the series after T4 has always encourage you to learn juggles and the series continue to improvise on better juggles for ridiculous damage. You take a simple fighting game like Street Fighter in collaborating with a game like Chicken which is to many true fighting gamers knew the complications/complexity of mastering the game; hard learning curve for matchups, timing execution, etc is no comparison whatsoever. So now, I suppose to buy into the fact that experimenting street fighter characters which to me is a joke.
And.. what's this? a tag helper system? Rival school anyone? Really. I'm sick of these new capcom games. These experiments one after the other has been a flop for me ever since Vanilla SF4 was out. Ono is an idiot if he thinks this is what he should be working on for the next 2 years and ignore the fact that he has mentioned of a new Darkstalkers/Vampire Saviour sequel. This idea of putting two different games in is completely out of proportional and I'm just gonna be shaking my fucking head throughout this developement process.

Have a little life in you man, if the game sucks it sucks. Let us in our fantasy world dream and ponder how great this is going to be without you spoiling the party. Yes realistically this is combining two totally different games with two totally different styles but c'mon I need something to be excited about.
Sheesh fighting games are almost dead to me, I would like to relive some of my days when I was hyped over one.

I have awaited a crossup like this forever but I have my doubts its not going to be a success because of the downfalls both series have gone through the past couple releases. I love tekken with all my heart but I have not had that love since tekken tag tournament was released. I somewhat felt that love again after playing Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection but T6 just totally killed it for me.
Same thing goes with sf, I was a huge fan of 3s (3rd strike) and a3 (Alpha 3) and I even liked Cvs2 (Capcom vs Snk2) even though I couldn't play that game for the life of me. I bought sf4 and eh, it was ok but it didnt have that same feel. Same thing goes for ssf4, I bought it, played awhile and now I dont pop it in the system anymore.
If I was to buy either one of these two titles, it would most likely be on the Namco side.

I am the releaser / developer of both platinium 2 and ShowROOM and ShowROOM is soooooo much better and has the console games all in one way nice looking and operating GUI...plus so many more games now work ro are bug fixed...they are worlds apart now
If you like platinium 2 your in for quite a treat
So the answer is I made them both....and CoinOPS ShowROOM owns platium by about 2-3 years of developement eg it now supports all those Console games you mentioned so you can just launch them though CoinOPS and have a more powerfull sorting engine and also it will be in one place for all your Console/Arcade game requirements

Okay maybe I wrote the words wrong but I meant, Dive in after getting the necessary information and what you will be doing. I would have to be pretty hard pressed on my luck to just pack a small bag and leave the next day across the world to somewhere I know nothing about.
From what I figure here Fatal Rose has also joined this opportunity and seems to be doing pretty well in this situation?? Granted I dont think either one of them have met each other in person but if he can talk to this person online/phone, etc etc. He has at least some sort of validation seeing as though another person has done exactly what he is thinking of doing.
Then again, not every one is built the same and cant just go on a limb like that.

Are you just needing help switching out your xbmc builds?
not really just some plugins and scripts I might have missed from people who use them alot.
I have downgraded to the build I linked above and 7tft is working fine now.
Only thing really left for me to do now is to transfer over the remaing xbox games I dont have on there and to find and compare Mameox platinum 2 and the new coinops build (once I find it)

Hello all, how is everyone doing today?
First a little back story
I am running a 1.6 xbox 1 with a 320 hd upgrade currently running a xbmc version Built on Jan 17 2010 (SVN:26941, compiler 1310) by T3CH
I am in the process of reverting back to xbmc version XBMC SVN 2008-05-18 (18th of May 2008) rev13120
I want to use the skin 7TFN but the setting screen dosent appear when using any of the new xbmc builds.
The primary use of this machine is for my vehicle, it is a part of my media setup until I build a carpc.
Just wanted to know if anybody else had any experience with xbmc in their vehicle? I also will be figuring out what are the new emulators and what runs what best.
Also I never really got into scripts and all but are there any that are must have and am I really missing anything.
Oh yeah I have about 40 xbox games on the hd, about 50 movies and emulators for genesis, nes, snes, game boy advance and between mameox and coinops.

Yeah I cant really blame it on age, I'm only 27. I put it more so on lack of focus and time and will to practice.
I have two daughters and am currently unemployed so when I have time to play, its time like the kids are running around and I'm downstairs trying to enjoy it. Basically that means either I'm having fun or enjoying the game, not stressing over timing and how I should have played this match.
I need a new fighter to come out and peak my interest again. Hopefully I can drop this pad and main stick fulltime. I swear my pad is gonna meet the wall next time I miss a fadc to an ultra

I know I'm getting to the point. People that I have played fighters with since 96 and earlier need to yell at me to get focused when we play, lol. I've been through the stages of playing xmvsf, mvc, motw and last blade back in the day on kaillera in a clan. Sheesh I remember before 1emu was even up, all of us playing alpha 1 and 3 in tournaments nonstop.
I think I've had a good run but I still play for fun. Its nice to see people you taught how to play pwning you like your their grandfather, lol
