    I would like to take this opportunity to thank you nes for the awesome work on this emulator. It's already my favorite on xbox.

     

    Is there a way to adjust the vertical video preview in single and dual mode? Vertical video previews always seem to show as horizontal ones while screenshots show fine.

     

    Also adjusting screen for each game is great but is there a way to adjust screen globally?

    there were several pinball games released for the xbox already and lets not forget the best pinball game ever devil crush for the pc engine.

     

    Yeah, I can name 3 : Pinball Hall of Fame, Ultimate Pro Pinball and Pure Pinball. Are there others?

    Please make a list with the best PSX games that run FULLSPEED on the Xbox.

    @neil i dont get any problems with slowdown in that part of the game and i just use the basic settings.

    @eder182 use these settings to get the game to work.

     

     

    bios mode:bios file

    core version:1.4

    gpu plugin:1.16

    spu plugin version:1.9

     

    there is a compatibility list for nealy all ps1 games over at xbox scene.

    this is a very good guide and help for pcsxbox but if it says dosent work try it anyway as i found that games like strider2,x men children of the atom and raiden dx work by messing around with the settings.

    basically if a game dosent load use the 1.4 core version.

     

    Just tried Strider 2 (this game rocks) with these settings. Is it really supposed to run full speed? While the game is playable, I notice slowdowns most of the time with fps dropping at 10-15 e. g. most noticeable at the end of mission 1 VS the dragon emperor. I have the NTSC-U version of the game. Should I try the PAL version or... ?

    no you dont if you have played the ps1 version of strider 2 on an actual ps1 then you will notice there is slowdown in that as well,same goes for the arcade version IIRC.

     

    Ok cheers. I used to play it on ps1 but honestly can't remember about the slowdown and can't try atm as mine is worm food now! LOL I must be spoiled by all those x360 games running at 60 fps and forget it wasn't always like that.

    @kpone concerning your problem with 2 and 4 player roms heres what to do.

    unrar the 4 player rom and then unrar the 2 player rom.put the files to both unrared roms into one folder and name it the sam name as the 2 player game.then compress it into a zip file and then you will hav 1 rom which is the 2 player version.

    Hi,

     

    I've added a couple clones to Showcase R3 : Vendetta 2 players (vendet2p) and Sunset Riders 2 players (ssrdrebd) because the original roms included in Showcase don't allow to select the character while the 2 players versions do (isn't it fun to play as the Mexican guy in Sunset Riders? :)) .

     

    Anyway, I edited the catver.ini file to list them in the correct categories and rescanned all games.

     

    Now clones and originals appear in the correct categories but there's no way of telling them apart.

     

    My only options now are :

     

    - remove the original roms from Coinops, FTP the original roms back (else the clones don't work) and NOT rescan the games, so I only keep the 2 players versions in the list.

    - create a special category for these games or leave them in "Added Game" by default (not great)

     

    IMO other nice options to differentiate them would be :

     

    - show additional info in the game information overlay (2 players, 4 players, etc)

    - "Remove this game" doesn't actually delete the game from HD but only removes the rom from the list

    - or simply add the 2 players versions in the DATS

     

    What do you think BP?

    Ok can someone help me out here. I have never had this issue before.

     

    I copied everything from R3 over top of the R2 showcase I had installed and now every single game comes up with "Error: required files are missing, the game cannot be run."

     

    Is there still a Udata and Tdata file I need or am I SOL and just delete the whole thing and start over?

     

    What could have caused this?

    I experienced the same bug, Coinops froze while on screensaver for a long time.

     

    Also, Gunnail sound is messed up.

     

    Cba.gy: There's no worry, man. That's just the way torrent is after all.

     

    Ah right. From all the games I tried (and I tried quite a few ones !) I noticed one shooter had weird sound but I couldn't remember which one. That's GunNail indeed. Not sure about the screensaver bug though but what I find annoying on my ol' 4:3 TV is that the screensaver videos are too stretched/not adjusted to the screen size I set in CoinOPS. But maybe I missed a setting somewhere? Is it possible to adjust the screen size in screensaver mode? cheers, kpone

    Although the game does work in CoinOPS, do you think it would be possible to fix the gfx bugs on Dragon Ball Z 2? Some background layers are messed up on this game e.g. the DBZ2 intro with the Mountain showing on background or the T-Rex improperly showing on some stage background.

    First of all, thanks for the hard work ! I have been enjoying CoinOPS reignite original version with the screenshots pack and the AVP video sample B). Couldn't find R2 so far! Any idea if Showcase will be available on newsgroups? Or torrents only? Regards,
