April 1st PlayStation Home is shutting down its servers (Unless that's Sony's idea of an April fools joke), a lot of people spent money on Home content and that's gone...
You should really take that with a huge grain of salt. Sony has poured a tremendous amount of resources into Home, so they aren't just going to pull the plug all the sudden. The date in itself is suspicious already.
Hmm, I guess Home didn't close after all. Games these days are allowing you to unlock Home items the further you get in them too. Looks like things are picking up.

Horrible movie, really puts us in a bad light. The direction was near seizure inducing and nearly all the actors were just 'there'. I perked up when John Leguizamo made an appearance, but they didn't give him much screen time at all.

^But it isn't just white people though, even for something to be funny nowadays it has to be utterly obnoxious or vulgar or completely absurd. Commercials getting more and more bizarre, movie comedies getting more and more ridiculous, its all tied together with young american people's stupid behavior lately.

I totally agree with what you're saying. It's like you need to dumb yourself down to have a conversation with some people. She has new photos up now! Remember to vote 5 stars, it seems the stats are a bit strange, so only the ONLY 5 star photos are shown first. She has one at the top, but we'd like more considering she has so many on there. She's really happy I was able to get so many votes for her, looks like someone is nearly out of the dog house!

No offense to you, i'm American too, but I see kids acting this way, behaving like that show Jackass and watching MTV like its a religion and its disappointing. That's good to hear. I had my doubt whether Sony had reverted to another case of "it's not yours even if you bought it" and either made it very difficult to swap the HDD and/or void your warranty if you tried to swap.
Also, considering that I live in the PAL region, are all PS3 games region free with only Blu-Ray and PSX/PS2 games region-locked or does that "freeness" vary? Not that the whole PAL/NTSC matters because 720p and 1080p these days, but you know.

Yes, all PS3 games are region free. I upgraded my HDD so I can load up all my movies. I still have over 150GB free for content. I just like having everything on the system, as opposed to hooking up an external. Besides, now I can say I have a 500GB PS3 Slim for only $320!

Don't even bother getting the 250GB model. I bought the 120GB model and upgraded the HDD to 500GB for only $80. Ordered the HDD from Newegg, really great site!
Did you open up your PS3 and swap in the new drive or did you buy an external HDD? I'm not that worried about HDD space though, I think I would be ok with just the 120GB model. We'll see.
Yes, it's an internal HDD, and no, it does not void the warranty if you do it. Sony encourages it actually.

I'm personally waiting for early 2010 because of God of War III, Star Ocean: The Last Hope <International> and Final Fantasy XIII. Also, the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia, if only Namco Bandai would stop being a bitch and make a proper announcement of the NA/EU release (and you know, the game sold ridiculous amounts of copies on it's first day in Japan). I have already bought DMC4 and Prince of Persia, so that I have something to play when I get the console.
The only real problem is my Internet connection, or rather, my cable modem box and the Ethernet cable are located in such a place that it's going to take a bit of sweat, a switch and more Ethernet cable if I ever want to put that console online.

I bought MGS4 for $32, considering how the game goes, it being on the 360 would make no since, some of the dialogue would be completely out of place, play the game and beat it to find out what I mean.
I like the part where they talk about the Blu-ray.
That's exactly what I was talking about earlier. You'd have to change quite a bit, and take out a lot as well just to port this game over. Me thinks it would cost too much. Hell, a second edition was never even done for this game it was so complete when it first came out. M$ would have to pay a lot of money to both Sony and Apple to get this game over to the 360.

Simply pricing. Most of the games that I wanted are out on both systems. I won't go back on that sentence, at that time, yes the Ps3 sucked like hell. Games were almost non-existent(I still struggle walking into a Gamestop trying to find anything worth my time that's an exclusive to the system), and the systems price tag of $400 with no Ps2 backward compatibility (I never owned a Ps2, missed out on a lot of classics) just turned me off. But improvements have been made, and Sony is finally doing things that they should have done a long time ago (Slim costing $300 is one of them).

See, back then and even now, I try and tell people the system has enormous potential. I can understand that price was your problem, I have only ever spent $250 on a PS3, even on the brand new slim I bought I only spent $240 for it. I'm patient and weed out deals on Craigslist and eBay until I find what I'm looking for. I was hoping the system would at least be cracked to play homebrew right now, but it doesn't seem like that will ever happen. I still enjoy it, the games, and it's media player features though, over 300 Xvid/DivX movies make me happy.

I would rather ban worry then wallet worry
Ban will lead me to purchase another console which cause a bigger dent to my wallet. So, yeah, PS3 would be more economical for me in the long run since Consoles are not cheap here!
The latest ban wave disabled a lot. Anyone who knows me knows that I tell the truth but yes, I am pro-Sony for obvious reasons. I'll list what the ban does to your console...1. Cannot install games to the HDD
2. Disables all media server access (you cannot stream anything to your 360)
3. In terms of achievements, you cannot play games on your banned 360, remove the HDD and load up those achievements onto your Live! enabled 360. Your gamertag will sync with data from before you were banned.
The first two are features provided through software updates for your console or are already inherently there when the 360 was first released. These features should NOT be taken away from gamers, only the ability to connect to XBOX Live!. M$ taking away features you paid for is just asking for a lawsuit.
They will win the lawsuits. You are not supposed to mod your X360 in the 1st place!
You miss the point... Ok, I'll see if I can make this as simple as possible. If you're getting free cable and a cable company finds out, what do they do? Shut your cable off. They don't take your VCR/DVD Player/Blu-Ray Player with them. People payed for the basic feature of streaming movies they own to the XBOX 360. If you didn't buy Live! in the first place, you would still have this feature. Taking away basic offline features of the console you bought via hacking your system is against the law. Right now many legitimate XBOX 360 owners were banned during their glee spree, these people have EVERY right to sue M$ for not only taking away console feature that do not require a Live! subscription, but also for falsely accusing them of pirating. Even users who modified their console have a case here.
It's like saying 'It's not your XBOX 360, so we can do whatever we want to it.'. Get it now?

PS3 has not been hacked. It most likely will never be hacked due to all the security checks in the system. Your best bet is to get a good version of Linux and run emulators on there. No, Linux will not in any way interfere with PSN.

I bought a PS4 and have spent a decent amount of time with it. Great interface, wish it was backwards compatible though with at least PSOne games to hold me over until some new AAA PS4 game comes out.
I was looking around my man cave and realized every Sony system I have in there can play Final Fantasy VII-IX except the PS4. Shame really.
