  1. Why are you suddenly concerned about downgrading? Earlier, you stated that you didn't want to downgrade.

In order for you to achieve installing, Custom Firmware 3.71m33-3, you need to have a Pandora's Battery, and a Magic Memory Stick.

    http://www.pspmod.com/forums/psp-hardware-...tery-guide.html

Actually it’s about to upgrade in 3.71 m33. Whatever it is, if it’s related with downgrading. I want to follow any process that brings me on the version that I want. I told I don’t want to downgrade if there other ways. Hope-fully no way’s at last, so I don’t mind to downgrade anyway. So how do make that Pandora things worked with official 3.52.

And the link you gave me is perfect. But it’s hacking the hardware, and I am looking for software for 3.52 to make it happen. if there no software then of course I must go for hack the hardware.

    Thank you.

  2. You cannot install Custom Firmware on a PSP with a Firmware of 3.51 or higher, without using a Pandora battery.

In order to install Custom Firmware on a PSP with 3.52 OFW, you will need a Pandora's battery, and a Magic Memory Stick.

I know about it and hearing almost from beginning of my problem. But people say the official firmware 3.52 can’t be downgraded. What to do??

  3. Hi, I am back once again. With same problem, I was busy to making the Pandora thing all I got is bundle of software’s. But I realise that there no tutorials I haven’t find so far is to how to make Pandora battery with using an official firmware? My version is 3.52. I also heard if you have official 3.52 then it’s not possible to downgrade, is it true?

There all other sites just describing how to downgrade psp, making Pandora battery and only for custom firmware users :thumbsup1:

Is there nothing to do who have official firmware like 3.52? Is it the dead end of the homebrew if someone buys psp with official 3.52 or upgraded accidently to official 3.52?

Please somebody give the better idea.

Thanks so much for wasting your valuable time for this.

  4. You can't downgrade from 3.52 without a battery.

lol, I just told I don't want to downgrade either. And want to upgrade from current official 3.52 to custom 3.71 m33.

you need to use pandora, you just can go from official to custom without using pandora (for the fw version you have)

Thanks for saying that, exactly this thing I want to know. (but confuse )Can you please explain more about that or how to do -- because avoid risk of bricking psp.

  5. Hi,

I recently got an fat psp. and it has official 3.52 installed. I want to upgrade it to 3.71m33-3. I did one before it was on 1.5 version and seems really easy. But I want to upgrade now directly from 3.52 to custom mode and of course with-out the downgrade/or by using Pandora. so is it possible? I want a solution please. Because its may be boring with-out home-brew. anyway..

    thanks.

  6. if cso isnt working try dax or jso for your compression method. If that still doesnt help try dumping it as a uncompressed iso changing which method launches the game m33, sony9660, or oe.

I have list of ISO actually. My other ISO like sonic rival 2, call of duty 3 , wall e etc. running perfect. Anyway its fine when I play spider man from umd. I try other formulae as you say-- hope may be luck or I need to change the ISO.

  7. okay.

A game, Jet Force Gemini, is a RPG game.

It has guns, health stat, Tribal stats, coins, floyd stats, 3 characters, a lot of planet, bosses...Try it.You see...

no its not. if you watch a action movie and turn off the display just hear the sound of gun fire, does it make any sense?

  8. Ahhh I posted something about region, i missed that you were running an emu not an actual ps. My bad. Change the CD pluggin for another that could help or how are you burning your CD.

CD plug ins which I am using now, its detecting the drive in daemon tools or real drive. so if its run the daemon tools drive so why not its not detect the real drive. And I also tried different plug ins. both are doing same thing.

the burning process start when I found the software and the image does its support. when I open the image with POWERISO, its displaying exactly the same thing which daemon tools display. then I press burn for burn it to CD. its complete the burning process and eject the CD, and again its displaying the same thing like daemon tools after mounting an image when I insert the real CD. so what's going wrong.

  9. Hi,

I played a game called Muppet race mania and its work good with Daemon tools but when I burn the image in to a compact disk and set the drive, the screen showing blank. the image format are IMG and CCD. I used power ISO to burn them. power ISO don't support CCD file, I burn the img file. so what software do I use to burn it to a CD? or why the same CD image working with daemon tools but not working in real CD drive?

power iso works great with iso file.

  10. so why it is displaying openGL when i press graphics properties. Is it any driver I need to install?

I played or still playing sonic adventure dx pc version and its look like super good. sound like you guys don't have enough solution. and I am bit busy for playing some good pc games. I don't know why my card doesn't like dreamcast.

  11. His specs aren't fine. The root of the problem is that integrated Intel chip, which is, to put it bluntly, utter trash when used with 3D emulators. The chips have always been trash and shouldn't be used in gaming PCs, period.

Having said that, you won't be playing any Dreamcast games with any emulator until you get a decent graphics card.

may be this is acceptable. I need a good graphics card. which is I already told before somewhere else.

my card name is open GL

there lots option for 3d like Driver memory

Flipping policy force texture and lots other. is there anything I can do?

I played the n64 games and it looks perfect.

  12. Your specs are fine. I don't know why you are going to all this bother to emulate the DC. It almost sounded like you bought a new PC just to run NullDC?! Save yourself any more hassle and just buy a used DC for very very little money. Then all you need are blank CD-Rs and a little bandwidth :)

That aside. From now on post specifics about the glitches/problems. Which game? What image format? Playing from CD? Changes you made to configuration of Chankast/NullDC? Which plug-ins are you using? etc etc

you're right but not only for nulldc. I bought new pc for play games. so it is not full enjoyment with-out DC game. Ok not ask for what plug ins I am using. just tell me the instruction for a DC emulator and the plug ins that should run game with out glitches; if my new pc is enough for run DC game. The game sonic adventure 2. The image format is mdf/mds. i mount it by using daemon tools (for chankast). and direct open by using nulldc.

    thanks

  13. HI, once again

I am using a pc just few days old, and I also new user for vista. I am trying to play dc games in chankast and null dc but there are grapics glithes. Is it my system is not enough. please carefully check it first.

  14. Hi guys,

Thanks for the helps. At last I finished the game (with no cheat). I feel bit boring working around the temples and they all look like same. Simply in one word, I can say nice. I was really stuck in water temple and no option I can see; sadly I watched you-tube for help. Sorry about that. Almost every people give Zelda rank one in their top ten lists.

And my favourite games list, not the list actually the number one. Is very simple “Mario 64” and if you talking about RPG yes of course its “paper Mario” (best RPG game ever). It’s true every people have their own choice and taste and no one can avoid it. I can’t give Zelda in my third place and it’s for me only. I saw a person give the Diddy Kong race his rank one, and it’s possible for different person’s choice.

  15. Yes I finally found the different between the master quest and normal. In master quest every enemy and items are in different place. So it doesn’t match to other details. Shall I delete the old data and start again? Because I already pressed some button in master quest, in normal which come later. That’s funny. But I must need to jump in centre to break the larva. But there is another larva hole inside which has no option to break it. I am lost with two different versions. I don’t want master quest anymore. So what can I do? If I delete it and get the normal version, its may be affect my current progress.

    Help

  16. Have you obtained the Fairy Slingshot and shot the eye above the door yet? Have you raised the pillars by pressing a button in one of the rooms? The only way to get down the big hole in the center is to climb all the way to the top and leap down, landing dead-center of the hole and through it.

    P.S. You know, GameFAQs helps.

I am still having problem. The room is in the third floor which has a switch to open it. I raised the pillars to open the treasures box in front and left from the door. But how can I open the door in the second floor. Is it second and third floor doors related together? Where is the Fairy Slingshot and where I can find the eye?

please help and give more details.

    thanks man.

  17. Hi all,

I haven’t played Zelda before. I have bought shield and found the sword as a passport for Deku tree.

But I am completely stuck inside the tree. A door opened in the; maybe second or third floor by pressing a button. And I completed the room by getting all the treasures. After that I can’t see anything. A door still closed with some larva. In the ground there is a big hole and it’s also closed by larva. The map seems useless inside the tree it is displaying room and it look like a test-tube. What can I do for continuing my journey? I need help please.

I know it’s an easy task for Zelda players. But I already told that I am playing first time this type of game.

    Thanks.
