I'm like this as well, and always have been. Now that I finally got a job, I can spend a bit, but most of my salary goes to my accounts and stays there. It helps to have an apartment of your own, no mortgages or other loans and not having to pay rent.

I upgraded my old HTPC to it, unfortunately it wasn't really a great experience. The machine was a 6 year old Lenovo that isn't officially supported beyond Windows 7 and it had some stability and odd USB problems as a result.
This is also my reason for not upgrading. I think Windows 10 would be wasted on my current laptop.
It's also sad to see some compatibility issues coming up with older software, notably some emulators that still use DirectDraw.
So it's true that Windows 10 no longer supports DirectDraw? Not very ideal in terms of older emulators.

Ff7 remake? Why bother even buying it, the cutscenes and gameplay will be on youtube an hour after it comes out.

Let's see how its PC release stacks:
- horrible performance
- apparently crashy/buggy
- Denuvo DRM (seems to stress ssds hard)
- has only a 36% positive score on Steam ("mostly negative" reception)? Now you can't add Steam reviews, likely so the score doesnt sink to zero.
I'll stick to the previous games for now, til this gets patched.
This kind of thing is a major contributor to the fact that I'm not a PC gamer.

Out of curiosity: why do you need this DAT file? Archiving purposes? I have the decrypted P1, S1 and M1 on file somewhere, but no DATs... back from when NeoRAGEx was still a worthwhile emulator.

Megaupload has resurfaced as MEGA and is the only filesharing site that gives me decent download speeds other than torrents. The rest are all throttled down unless you pay.
Very true. Well, it's not the only one. 4shared and ge.tt give nice speeds as well.

I did fly to Peking (Beijing?) as a tourist some 12 years ago and really liked it. More than a decade later I'd be more than happy to go back, if only as just a tourist. As far a actually working there for a living... I don't know.

I'm not giving up yet, but the job market been in really bad shape over her efor a long time. Furthermore, I really have no interest in coding, so that narrows my employment options considerably.

You could use the Universe BIOS, since it has a built in cheat database for practically every single Neo-Geo game... but I don't remember if it has a weapon select cheat.

The best way to be secure is not to be clicking them links like a moron with tunnel vision. Know your Internets.
If you want privacy, then stuff like Firefox's Ghostery and related Adblock Plus filter lists are a good start. Those should be available for Chrome too, I reckon.

Damn... brings back memories from when my cat passed away. She was with me for 19(!) years. Never really liked to be held too much and was, for all intents and purposes, a glorified pin cushion (with the pins reversed)... but she did show her affection, a lot.

Yes, käymälä is a good word.
Quite old-fashioned, but still in use in some places. The difference between 'a' and 'ä' is vocalization. Think "mark" versus "man"; if you'd ask a Finnish person to write these two words phonetically, they would be "mark" and "män", respectively. -
