    This is my initial Xbox port of The Griffon Legend.

    Introduction
    ============

    The Griffon Legend is an action RPG with screen-to-screen map. It features
    original storyline and design made in 16-bit style RPG's of SNES/GENESIS era.

    During gameplay you can see up to 3 bars below your character. The top is
    health, the next is attack strength (let it charge to hit harder) and then
    spell strength (same as attack). When you learn new spells you will see their
    icons in the bottom right corner with a meter below them to show them charging.
    When the meter turns orange they are ready for use.

    Some history
    ============

    Originally The Griffon Legend was written in FreeBASIC
    using SDL for graphics and FMOD for sound/music. That restricted the game to
    be released for Windows only. Now The Griffon Legend is rewritten in plain C
    using SDL and SDL_mixer for better portability, the source code is licensed
    under GPL2 license (see COPYING). All non source code assets are licensed under
    Creative Commons and are copyright of their respective authors.

    * Includes all memory leak and crash fixes from the 3DS port by nop90. This should eliminate almost all crashes people reported back in the day, including the ones when fighting Ganon at the end. This was a long time coming, @darknior asked if I could pull in these fixes in 2017


    * Although the original does cap the frame rate, it always seemed very jittery to me. So this release I uncapped it and it runs at 60FPS. If you hate this and think its too fast you can toggle 30FPS back on with a click of the left analog stick. If you have been playing Navi's Quests at all that game they did not cap it, so the speed is comparable to that now. I didn't any any mechanism to save this if you toggle it though, so you will have to toggle every time you restart the game.

    Recompiled french version is included as well.

    Opa Opa is now fully playable the graphical problems are now fixed as well and the unprotected version is now supported also [dink]
    Remaining protection issues are sorted for SD Gundam Sangokushi Rainbow Tairiku Senki level 3 mini boss and some gameplay niggles on the later levels [dink]

    Fixed a random crash problem which affected the following Psikyosh games Gunbird II, Strikers 1945 II and Strikers 1945 III [arcadez]

    Street Fighter II Remastered is a project that has been in production since 2016 as a laboratory to test various possible solutions to solve part of the problems of this game and other titles on this platform.

    Everything related to art and presentation has been redone, all resources have been used intelligently to extract the potential of the console.

    It is also not a port restricted to the original work, Street Fighter 2 has always been updated in arcades and ports. So part of the job was to revise the game with modern elements present in the SF series itself to give an updated look to the game.

     

    [MAIN CHANGES]

        New HUD.
        New text/fonts.
        Player select map updated.
        Player mini-portraits updated with more shading and details.
        Blanka Mini portrait was changed to arcade version.
        All regular portraits was updated with more colors and details.
        Balrog References to Mike Tyson have been restored, including new colors based on this era of the fighter.
        Bison portrait restored like the arcade.
        All animation frames have been revised gaining more movement and restoring omitted details.
        All characters have gained a new alternative color in the turbo version.
        Chun Li won a new Kikoken animation and sprites.
        Guile Sonic Boom has been updated and is closer to the SSF version.
        All scenarios have been redone with new art, more objects, animation and more simultaneous colors on screen.
        All endings have been revised and are much closer to the arcade.

    [GAMEPLAY CHANGES]

        Bug Fix for turbo M. Bison’s Light Psycho Crusher (makes Light Psycho Crusher chip twice on block)
        Fix incorrect charge time (too high) assigned to Turbo Guile’s Sonic Boom
        Fix incorrect damage value (too high) assigned to Dhalsim’s Yoga Noogie Grab

    [OTHER CHANGES]

        Console censorship removed

    Namco has a new range of Famicom (NES) games coming out for the Nintendo Switch this month, and it includes an unexpected bonus: a NES demake of Pac-Man Championship Edition, the incredibly good reimagining of Pac-Man released for the Xbox 360 in 2007.

    Gaplus for NES taken from  Namco Museum Archives Vol. 2 as a bonus title.

    Gaplus is a sequel to Galaga and has similar gameplay. The player controls a spaceship, that can now move vertically (limited to halfway up the screen, much like Atari's Centipede) as well as horizontally, and shoots at swarms of incoming insect-like aliens which fly in formation above it and swoop down to attack it in a kamikaze-like dive. In this sequel, the level starts over if the player gets killed before all the enemies have come in. When all enemies are killed, the player moves on to the next level. By obtaining certain powerups, it is possible to shoot sixty bullets per screen, the most any Galaxian-related game has.

    On a second note if any of you modders wants to activate features like the starry sky, lightning, rain, etc i can send you builds of that separately but for now i wanted to get this one out the door too because nestopiax is right behind this release as well.

    Special shout-out to HereticalZealot for inadvertently giving me the motivation to get this one out the door tonight.

    This is my Xbox port of OpenTyrian, a port of the DOS shoot-em-up Tyrian.

    Tyrian is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shooter. The story is set in 20,031 where you play as Trent Hawkins, a skilled fighter-pilot employed to fight Microsol and save the galaxy.

    This port was based on the Nintendo3DS port by nop90 (https://github.com/nop90/Opentyrian-3ds) since his was the most recent console port I found and I knew it would include workarounds for keyboard entry, but I also merged the latest changes from OpenTyrian which seemed relevent; there have not been many changes to the project in recent years.

    I added a screen resize in the options menu (Which is called OpenTyrian, not Options - for whatever reason :D ), but you can also click down the right stick during the game to resize or position the screen. This game is 320x200 so I had some over scan issues - you may too. After you set the screen size and position it will auto set on the next play.

    Giddy 3: Somewhat Xbox Edition v1.1

    1. Now runs at ~60FPS. Removed responsibility for regulating FPS from SDL_Timer as it was doing a horrible job keeping it steady, or anywhere near 60FPS.


    2. Adjusted render speed of fading so GPU is not bogged down when transitioning screens.
    3. Fixed bounding box on several sprites as some of the outer borders in the sprite sheets were rendering causing a line above or below the sprite.

    Giddy 3 is fun and quirky platform puzzle game, full of 80's/90's pop culture references. The game contains 5 levels, and there is no save system. It is like a metroidvania in that you are backtracking the levels and getting items to access new areas, but without the shooting/whipping you would expect.

    Titled XVVVVX cause I'm creative. Jokes aside this is an open source original Xbox port of VVVVVV, an indie platformer where you change the direction of gravity to traverse levels.

    This is not the full game, it is the free to play edition, meaning you can only play user generated content. Currently the level editor isn't finished so its more like "Play Edition." You will need the free to play content which can be downloaded here and user levels can be found here. I plan on releasing the full game whenever I finish and have permission as the game in its entirety isn't "open source."

    DevilutionX is a port of Devilution to the xbox by marty. Devolution allows Diablo to be played on multiple platforms.

     

    Controls:

    Left analog or D-Pad: move hero

    A: select spell, back while in menus

    B: attack nearby enemies, talk to townspeople and merchants, pickup/place items in the inventory, OK while in main menu

    X: cast spell, delete character while in main menu

    Odamex 0.8.1 has officially been released! The new version of Odamex has numerous bug fixes, as well as a handful of new features! Make sure to scroll down to check out the full changelog. Huge credit to AlexMax, Ch0wW, Dr. Sean, Hekksy, Hobomaster, HyperEye, Manc, and Nautilus for all of their hard work and contributions that made this release possible.

    Due to a lack of 0.8.0 release for Xbox both the 0.8.0 and 0.8.1 changelogs are relevant. Keep in mind that the Xbox version still runs with SDL 1.2 so the changes that are specific to SDL 2.0 do not apply to Xbox.
