I just got Onimusha 3 for PC, although it runs in window mode, I can't seem to chane the video mode of it as is in game and can't seem to make any changes. Please help for anyone who has it.

Streetfighter 3rd Strike, works perfect on my computer. Lets see, use Daemon Tools 3.29, and get the "Dreamcast Street Fighter 3 Third Strike (Pal Fixed).cdi" version. In Chankast I use Z write and Alpha Z write ". Have it 640 X 480 video mode with VGA cable type.
I win, I have the NTSC version. Plus, no need for DT3.29

this is probably a pretty newbish question, but what is the point of scanlines exactly? Just to make it look more like a TV or something? Because i never experienced any difference in performance or anything with them on or off...just....lines on my screen, so whats really the point of them? Lines across my game are annoying!
AHAHAHAHA Newbish? Tell me what experienced is then. Again it was just a question, I mean, that would be great, it makes it better cuz I'm used to it. Don't be black and white guys, be sympathetic.

Just a question, whenever I play emulated games, I have scanlines, this fixes up a lot of that "everywhere pixels" type of thing. You know what I'm talking about, is there a way to do that with Chankast? any separate programs that whenever you run puts scanlines on the monitor or something. It would really help.

The ONLY versio that you can downgrade is version 2.0 with a hack. No other version is downgradeable.
there are rumors of a 2.5 downgrade, with a quick google search.

well, I know that sony screwed me with their crap. I was trying to play GTA. I can only wait with my hands squeezed, for a 2.6 downgrader.

I just upgraded my psp to 1.5 to 2.6, now.....I'm screwed if you know what I'm talking about. I can't run homebrews and all the good stuff. Shoot, I'm screwed now, my PSP is worthless, so, please do not upgrade.

Well, I borrowed my cousins ps2 but I don't know if its mod chipped or not. He doesn't know either. It does play burned music cds though. I don't know if thats enough. I know I should try a burned game but that would require a lot of process. Is there any other way I can find out?

Around Aug-4 or 5th, I found the patch. I've been playing it since, but didn't get time to post it on the forums. One time I tried but my internet got screwed up. So yeah, I didn't find the patch yesterday. I've been playing it for a while now. If you really knew that patch existed before me Agozer, why didn't you even tell me?

There is no way to make it english. What you see is what you get.
Damn man, why do mods sound so straightforward and monotonous.
Heres a patch for english story mode.
First change in main GGXX folder in Program files from "the square looking character before reload" to "#" now put the patch in there and install it. Tadaaaaaaaaa!
That character is "#" in japanese.
Come on Agozer, a quick search on Google and looking around found me the patch. U didn't know it existed?

Hey, is there any way to play PC Guilty Gear XX in English. I don't play the game at all now because I don't even know whats going on. Theres so much talking in the game but its all japanese. Please tell me theres a way to play it in English!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the music guide. I'm gonna add my own music in it.

I'm much too confused about emulation on PSP. I have one, its 1.5 firmware, and I haven't installed any firmwares on it. Now to play roms, do I have to do the swap mehod? Nobody tells how to do things step by step. Its way to confusing. I don't even know what to do. I had this emulator installed. Then I followed the readme file for the emulator and changed the name of the rom but the rom still didn't work. Same for all the other emulators I found. Then I read some more on the internet that you had to do some exploit and convert the rom and then do a bunch of stuff. I'm way to confused. I don't want to swap. That can damage your psp bad. Is there any way I can play roms on my psp without swapping? If so, can someone post a step by step guide on how to do it?

I downloaded the sf3rdstrike. The bittorrent version, which comes in.cdi format and when I put it on daemon, it says the drive is corrupted. I looked inside.cdi file and found the iso file of sf3rd strike. I'm sure some of you have this version because its the only one you can find on bittorrent. Theres even a chankast configured package with this same file, so please, step by step, programs used and other techniques. Thanks in advance!!

Where can I find the rom? I've looked everywhere, and come across spyware sites, and on DC++, I looked and this guy never has a free slot, and on bittorrent, no one's online. Please post a web link!!! If you can't, then just PM it to me.

Hi, I've noticed that when I use Daemon tools and play an iso on an emulator, the music doesn't seem to work on some of them. One for example is I downloaded CVS and music wasn't working on Chankast. Now I just downloaded Eternal Champions: Challenge from the dark side for Sega CD and there's no music. Is there any way I can fix it? Please help fast!!!
BTW, sorry for posting here but I couldn't post it in the PC technical forum because it's to do with emulation.

Come on guys, give it some credit. You give SNK credit, for it's gay graphics that they still plan on using for KOF: Neowave and KOF 2004 and you have been ever since KOF 2000. So, what's wrong if Capcom uses CVS 2 graphics. Atleast they changed the Darkstalkers Characters into a CVS2 look. So be happy Capcom released a new Streetfighter game. Although, I'm quite shocked they didn't put Ken in there. Why dammmit?????
