SVCbl (Bootleg, without Plus & hidden chara directly at chara select screen) & SVCPlus come from the same romset, they were just edited with a hexa editor.
Latest P1 (CRC : E5794ACC) with Plus (rename P1 in svc_p1.rom if you want to use the all-first rom name). Use this P1 with S1 rom (CRC : AAEF740C)
Latest P1 (CRC : 9CFE4EDD) without Plus (rename it in svc_p1.rom if you want to use the all-first rom name). Use this P1 with S1 rom (CRC : 3334AC31).
Latest M1 (CRC : 7F01DAC5)(rename it in svc-m1.rom if you want to use the all-first rom name) Use this M1 with both versions.
SVCBL & SVCPlus work fine with the following emulators :
With Winkawaks Loader (with SVC Datfile) : works well
With Nebula Loader (with SVC Datfile) : works well
With Nebula unlocked version (with SVC Datfile) : works well
With FBA (compiled with SVC drivers) : works well
With Mame, Mame32, JMame (compiled with SVC drivers) : works well
With Kawa-X on X-Box (in removing another game instead) : works well

Well, i dont know what to tell you, if you say you got scrambled graphics with kawa-x plus..........
Scrambled graphics in CTHD2003 with Kawa-X are due to encrypted C roms, that's why you must use CTHD2003 for Neorage X : Graphics will be fine.
If you don't have V roms, take V roms from KoF 2001.

So is the only version of svc chaos that will play with kawa-x plus the one using the P roms from the plus pack?
Does anyone have the original running or are using different P roms?
Just wondering as I heard the PLUS version had a few bugs so I would like to get as close to the original as possible.
If anyone is running the original or are using different P roms I would be extremely grateful if they could tell me where I could find them.

For SvcPlus, use the latest patched P1 rom (CRC : E5794ACC).
For SvcBl (bootleg), use the latest patched P1 rom (CRC : 9CFE4EDD).

Gouki......How did you get it to work on Kawa-x Plus?
It won't work for me on Kawa-x Plus or Neoragex.
All the CTHD2003 roms are named 5003-Cx.rom, 5003-Px.rom, 5003-M1.rom & 5003-S1.rom (x is put for number 1 to 8 for C & 1 to 2 for P). The V roms come from KoF 2001, they are named 262-Vx.rom. It will work well with Neorage X if you've renamed all the CTHD2003 roms with.ROM extension.
To use this CTHD2003 with Kawa-X without editing the default.xbe : rename all the romset like Strikers 1945 Plus predecrypted (s1945pn).

SVCPLUS is a hacked rom set nothing more
svc is the closest thing you going to get to the original games i no longer use SVCPLUS
i own the svc jamma pcb and in no way is a bootleg.
the so called bootleg works the same as my pcb jamma game board apart from sound issues with the rom it is pefect ...
It is hacked for the "Plus" & boss heads at chara select screen. But : can you prove the dump of SVC released on the Net isn't bootleg ?

Capcom vs SNK series aren't supported in MV-S & AES, you can't use them on a NeoGeo emulator.

It isn't released on the Net for the moment. But it is already dumped, possibly by Billy Jr.

For the rest of you: ***the CTHD patch will be the last official update to Kawa-X Plus and any future developments/patches,etc will be applied to the Gouki version.
WHY?
Well Gouki put a lot of time and work into creating the most simplistic version of a "hexed" kawa-x anywhere. What youve been used to doing such as renaming the internal roms to match the host/clone romset, renaming the zip for compatibility to kawa-x plus.........will no longer be necessary! All you will need to do is have the correct rom downloaded which have been listed in earlier posts. This ".dat" will also be provided with the download (ill make sure of this).
so basically you download svcbl.zip (svc bootleg)..........you send to your roms folder as-is.....and play........
simple.....
no work on your part....the works been pushed to people like Gouki and myself that will update the default.xbe for future games.
NOTE***: Even this version does not allow full compatibility with ALL roms...the games still take the place of a host.......just no renaming on your part, keep the rom as the emulation standard has them available.
