Can you run the PS2 emus at full speeds? I doubt it.
Hey I've just got into Ps2 Emulation and so far I haven't been able to understand how it works ! So if anyone could explain how to start and give me some websites that I can d/l the stuff I need that would kick @$$!
PS2 emulation is in very early stages and I hardly consider that playable. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

Anyway....First you need to get a PSX emulator, a PSX BIOS, a graphics-, audio-, and a controller plugin. You can get the plugins from www.zophar.net and the BIOS from www.bioshouse.fr.st.
And of course, you'll be needing a PSX game CD or an ISO image of the CD.

As for your question, you have 2 options, you can use ePSXe for the best looking results, or Emurayden for an easy to use emu.
ePSXe requires a lot of time to set up right and it's not very beginner friendly. Emurayden lets you configure nothing at all really, but it works good and all you have to do is insert a cd.
