Hi there can someone try & load (Street Hoop / Street Slam / Dunk Dream) as all I get is work ram test on screen
It does it for some other neo geo games too

My build works fine. Did You tried official mame and delete nvram ?

yes works fine on normal mame... robert already knows about it as its in report faults page. by any chance you know anything about forced direct input ? to include in arcade builds as wanna know if it works

It's an easy fix for NeoGeo. If you're a self-compiler, just change lines 2415, 2422, 2429 in neogeo.cpp from:
neogeo_arcade(config);
to this:
mv1_fixed(config);
People that don't compile their own ARCADE will have to wait for 0.198 I guess, or maybe Robert will make an intermediate release... Who knows.

I don't think so.

 

After applying the latest changes from mamedev, Arcade crashes at start.

OK, finally fixed that, it was caused by the hacks in ironhors.cpp

 

So, those hacks are removed permanently.

Fixed the neogeo as well, by replacing neogeo_arcade with mv1_fixed.
