It’s been a while since my last post here. I don’t seem to have as much time these days as i used to. Some good news is that i’ve been working on FBANext. I have intergrated the codebase with the Win32 0.2.97.21 and have SVN access into the repository so i can keep updated much easier going forward. Big thanks to the FBAlpha devs for this!
0.2.97.21 gives us many many new features since the Beta 2.2 build including:

• PC Engine TG16 Driver
• NeoGeo CD Driver
• NeoGeo MVS Slot loader
• Irem drivers
• DataEast drivers
• Toaplan sound fixes
• many new drivers added

How hard is it to Jtag an xbox360, I still have a jtaggable xbox360 sitting around, but I don't think I have the solder skills to do it myself, and i don't feel like paying an absurd amount for someone else to do it.

i bought mines already jtagged so i dont know but there is another out there called the reset glitch hack you might want to look into.

Would be nice if Lantus helps implement this into Final Burn Legends aswell, for xbox 1 users.

Interesting stuff. Can't wait till the 360 reaches the potential of the original xbox. It is gonna be awesome what that console will be able to do with all of its power.

The multislot stuff wouldn't work on the xbox1. Waaay to much ram usage.

Sorry, I meant more specifically a way of selecting NeoGeo CD emulation on the gui

Even for upgraded (128 RAM) xboxes?

I suppose it could be worked out -- write the alternate cart data to the hdd, and load it as it is switched out. A real pain in the ass lol.

Agreed with iq_132, it is a real pain in the ass and will requiere a lot of slow IO on HDD.
