Hey, I just bought Deus Ex 2. I have been waiting for this game for god nows how long. So I get home and install it, and then i get an error message saying I need Pixel shader 1.1 I am guessing this is because of my piece of crap Geforce 2. Can anyone help me on any way to fix this problem without having to buy a new video card please?

This should be in Technical Help

You need a new card I'm afraid.

The MX series of Geforce cards doesn't work with Deus Ex:IW. In fact unless you have a top, top of the range PC you won't be having much fun with DE:IW

If you have a really old PC then you might be better buying an Xbox with Deus Ex. It could work out cheaper heh

Some may disagree but i wouldent buy any of the current crop of nividia cards...

Stick an ATI radeon 9500 pro upwards to an 9800 XT pro [big bucks] and the games will run in fear from the power you poses in graphics terms.

[I got a radeon 9600 pro :o B) its great nothing refuses to run]
