I recently came upon a site with most of the Street Fighter character's themes on it in mp3 format. Honestly I thought that some of them sounded better as MIDI. Definatly Ken's theme sounded better as MIDI, but I guess thats all just opinion. Any comments? :(

Ever played the PC CD-ROM version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo? All the music was CD Audio tracks. Cammy's was lots of piano, Ken's was guitar, and Guile's sounded like a mid-to-late-70's porn groove. I don't remember everyone elses too well, but I do know that it sounded a lot better than it did on the SNES.

Wonder if I've still got that CD here...

I believe you, that's very possible. In fact, I have a couple of old PC games that are like that as well. That was basically the system back then for some companies. Anyone has PC games should seriously just try them all out and see if they have any songs on the cd. (Just flip after usually Track 1 and see if you hear music!) :(

Thank god some one made this topic. I've been looking for a Street Fighter Zero/Alpha 2 song for a while. WinMX doesnt have it, Kazaa is a joke, and DC++ didnt have it (the hubs I went to atleast). I checked the site GC gave, that didnt have it either.

Has anyone beaten Zero 2 with Gouki and just sat there and listened to the music? I think it's the best Street Fighter tune ever made. I always wanted it in mp3 format but I'll take a midi.

If anyone knows of a place I can get this or has it, please tell me.

best thing in a while I got from WinMX was some stuff from the samsho4 soundtrack. Sounds a lot better than whatever format the music on the arcade box is in. the guitar and flute comes through much more clearly, and the drums are a nice touch that you can't quite make out too well in the arcade game.

Got Genjuro's and Kazuki's themes, as well as Galford's. I like Genjuro's best.

Looks like for superior game music, gotta import the CDs, or hit E-Bay. Might be worth the $$$.

Perhaps there should be a donation pool for purchasing Official game soundtracks we can host on a hub? I need to get on this DC++ stuff...

I have (I guessed so) all the music ripped from the game, but Gouki's song is missing. Do you know if I can find it downloadable in any website?
