oli_ramsay Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 Hi all I downloaded a crazy taxi rom and it has the following files http://img.techpowerup.org/080303/ct.jpg when I open nulldc and click normal boot, then click the *.gdi file (that's only 1KB) It just goes to this menu: http://img.techpowerup.org/080303/dc.jpg As if it hasn't been read properly. I'm a bit new to dreamcast emulators, do I need to use alcohol 120% to mount the rom and how to do that if so? THANKS!!!!!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wizard Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 It's not a rom. It's a CD Image. Now, is the CD image self boot? Because if it isn't, it won't work with NullDC unlike Chankast. Second, do you have the Dreamcast bios? If not, get them as well. In all likely hood it doesn't work, then it isn't selfbooting. Which means it won't work with NullDC until you made it selfbootable. Agozer Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 There are tools that convert to non-selfboot to selfboot. I can't name any, because I just trash any non-selfboot images I come across.
