You purchase tickets to sample food from different restaurants. Its kind of nice because u can see restarantes u never seen before. Posted July 3, 2003 Share Posted July 3, 2003 we have something simlar in my area. one festival is just for buffalo wings. its called The Wing Ding. the other is just for chili, and is called The Chili Cook-Off. they are VERY popular. people come from all the surrounding states (in the southeast), just for these two events. they both last several days. its the only time of year i allow myself to eat such foods. i guess i can be called a "health nut" the rest of the year.
