1. What version of VBA is it?

2. Is it all games or just certain ones?

3. Are you using the gba bios?

I am using version 1.5, I am using the bios, and none of my roms work.

Have you tried an older version?

Edit: Also if you have a pretty slow processor then you might want to give the SDL version a go.

A drastic measure could be to get rid of the VBA windows registry entry. I think thats where all the settings are held. Then maybe just do a complete fresh install
