Hey yall woundering if you can help me...
I have my 80gb hd split in two [my dad did it for me]
one side is 20gb the other 60gb
The 20gb is getting realativly full...7 gb left...
what i need to know is if i can split it in half 40gb each side...without loseing data?
Never used it before the software is called disk patition "magic"
so what you see people can it be done with knacking shoit up? 8) :)

Partition Magic became famous for its ability to edit and manipulate partitions even when they have information. version 8 is out and its so advance now that if the OS isnt on the particular partition you dont even need to restart.
so yeah to answer you question get partition magic, BUT becarefull when partitiong do a scandisk and a defrag also is advisible to prevent any mishaps. partitioning is easy but if messed up can mean you loss everything.
