vinion2000 Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 Well i must say when Emux got taken down it was a major blow. yet i think the most destructive thing that happened in emulation was when CPs2 emulation was made possible. man in weeks we had N00bs everywhere, swarming servers which were bogged with shear bandwith leeching. in the first 4moths after CPS2 release sites where droping from various issues. i remember joking with razoola in email that you will kill us all. the fact is the dangerous problem in emulation is that many of the new groups say what next. GBA, PS2, new arcade cart releases it has changed long since the days when it was about reliving the arcade days. lets face it most ppl only care about what they can get for free now-a-days.
