Iv'e tried both.. and found kawaks better.... but ppl loves mame... i wanna know why

Mame = More games and stuff
Kawaks = Playability and MACROS

It depends really on ur preference and ur system. Both play the games equally as well, but some ppl can't use mame because of their computer, and some ppl can't use kawaks cause they just don't like it.

Mame also more updated with the more modern/old games. Kawaks is mainly just used for kailliera and stuff like that.

Quite simple, as Diso already pointed out: MAME supports god knows how many games and emulation routines are accurate to boot. Kawaks never did much for me anyways, but if I would use it, I'd use it just for CPS1/2 games.

Well, the *best* is pretty far-fetched term in my opinion. try Kawaks, Nebula, FBA, MAME and NeoRAGEx and take your pick. I use Nebula and NRX myself.

Niather, I Use FBA. But Here Is What I Think Of The Two:
Mame: Playes The Old School Games
Kawaks: Macros+Netplay, But Who Uses Macros?

Oh And Kiallera Has The Netplay Version Of MAME.

Don't discount Nebula. It does neo-CD and supports the HQ2X filter. It also does macros.

MAME = accuracy (or use MAME32+ when using graphic enhance filters), but high hardware required, updated frequently

Nebula = nice NeoGeo CD support, can map force feedback to "sound effects", filters

Kawaks = netpay, filters

NeoRageX = low hardware required, different (often old versions) roms required, own egde filter

Final Burn Alpha = filters, netplay

I personally prefer MAME for accuracy and most options with filters given by MAME32+. I also like Nebula for NeoGeo CD, Kawaks and FBA+ are also nice and good for netplay. NRX I only recommended for slow machines.
