ive used many emulators but not many arcde emus(except for mame)i want to know how the hell to run tekken 1 and 2 and justice gakuen.how i have to do something to it to make it work?.and i download all version of those 3 roms still dont work the only one working for me is rival schools.help please?

1)don't use the MAME sets

2)all namco games have no sound AT ALL

Well, Justice Gakuen is Rival Schools ( the japanese version) and contains only one file that modifies the existing Rival Schools set.

I would appreciate it if you'd explain in detail what you did and did ZiNc give any error messages etc,

aww stupid me ive posted this so late that i was sleepy and didnt see where i did it at.sorry well i use the zinc gui thing i scan all the roms i have tekken hte version the emulator support the japanese rival school the asian rival school and and tekken 2 so far only rival school asian runs and is detected.

When I use Zinc it doesn't detect all of the ROMs so just make it show all games and try to run it from the full list.

that's because you have to set a path for EACH game, not just one path for all

Oh... well flock that. I like how mine is set up right now. Plus I never play those games.

i audit the games and here what the list came up with it for the jappanese rival school it doesnt say anything is just blanK(look under jgakuen.zip)and the tekken games seem to have the files only named wrong

again!! DO NOT USE THE MAME SETS, and if you have to unzip and change names, then do so, it's not gonna hurt.

for jgakuen try putting the rom file that's inside the zip, inside of the rvschool.zip

All my ZiNc roms work fine...where did you download yours and are they in the roms folder?

hey thanks yeah i had to rename and merge rival school with the single jgakuen file.

my final question,its not about making game run its about rival schools how come u cant use hyo(i havent played this game in quite sometime so iam thinking that the guy with the white hair and long sword)i remember i used to play as him every time i went to the arcade.

Hyo is not in Rival Schools 1, he is in Rival Schools 2.

gryphon ur usually right but hyo is in part one as the final boss but i know ive used him in part 1 as a normal partner. found proof in gamefaqs to backup my claims

I have hax0red cfg files for each game that enables time-release characters etc.
I'll put the cfg pack to my site for download.

Rival Schools also has akira along with Sakura as hidden characters...and Hyo of course.

Ooooh...then I suck at Rival Schools. I just remember beating that really big guy and thinking the game is over. I haven't even gotten Sakura yet!! AH!

but I memmer one time finding some different hacked cfg's from a dutch site. But only they were for some of the other games. Like...on sfex 1 you could play as Garuda, Gouki, and Vega, but on sfexp you could play as Evil Ryu, Evil Hokuto, Cycloid Gamma, and Cycloid Beta. But the ones on Da Freak's site don't have those characters unlocked

heres a link(s) that have cfg's that have all character exposed. in games like streetfighter ex rival schools and many more.heres a direct link to the zip file that contains all the characters for about ten games.all u have to do is overwrite the old cfg in the cfg folder(just saying all this crap if a newbie to zinc like me is reading this.)these cfg were i guess for the impact emulator but are fully compatible with zinc.and heres the page where i got it from.
update direct linking is not allowed so the first link wont work so try the second link to page were i got the file from,click and download from the link that says "Config Files pack - Unlock all charcters in the games by K'K' "

I guess so...I downloaded the CFG zip from that site and just unzipped it in my Zinc\CFG folder.

It should work like a charm. At least mine does.

ey guys, make sure to delete the old cfgs you had for those games and change the names of the ones with the cheats to their propper directory names, or else it won't work
