SNES definitely. No other system has had so many memorable and fun games (well besides NeoGeo.) I never owned a Neo Geo so I can't say that.

You are correct sir. I never had an actual Neo-Geo AES either, but my friend did...
Metal Slug was rare already back then, but he had Fatal Fury 3 and Last Blade.

None of my friends had a Neo Geo but there was an MVS cabinet at the local skating rink so we got our fill of Neo Geo there.

Heh. A small convenience(sp?) store near where I live had a Metal Slug cabinet....I didn't understand it back then, but my friend was slobbering all over it. When he started pouring coins in and played it 'till his finges bled, I was convinced that it was a pretty grand game.

Turbo Grafx 16 - I spent an entire week one summer working around my school so I could have money to buy one(it was $100.00 at that time) and a few games. I spent countless nights playing Legendary Axe 2, Ninja Spirit, and others. A couple of years later, I bought the CD attachment, along with Fighting Street and Exile. I thought I was king of the world, because noone else in my town had a TG-16. After that, it was onto Super CD games such as Lords of Thunder and Dracula X. I probably spent $150-200 a month importing games, since the system was already pretty much dead in the states. I kept my system and all 40+ of my games until late 2004, when I decided to sell it, having not played it in 2 or 3 years, since I discovered Tg16 emulation was much handier.
