Yes they do, and the new system will not be out until at LEAST the end of 2005, and the Gamecube is a steal at only £70 in the UK and it will prolly be around the same price where you stay!

I personally think £70 for a Gamecube is a great price! it just means you get les £ for the $ but more $ for the £, well thats the way I like to look at it

Put it this way, If I could get a Gamecube for £55, which is $100 coverted, I would have gone for it!

Man, i would definately advise anyone out there to buy a Gamecube.
I bought it last out of the current crop of consoles but it is easy the most used.
There are great games available and you can usually pick them up pretty cheap.
I'd recommend Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil ( the whole series), Viewtiful Joe, Ikaruga and Zelda: The Wind Waker. I could go on but they are my faves.

I pre-ordered mine, so I had to pay the full ammount, but I also bought another one for the Mario Kart and the Zelda collection disc, and sold the console to my cousin, lol

Well, I found out that in my country, GameCube has one BIG drawback: only few shops sells it, and the closest one is about hour of bussing from my house. Of cours renting is impossible.
Is GameCube that good that it worth it, or should I just get a PS2, with is much more common in my place?

Depends on what sort of games you like. In this day and age and especially when you have internet access you never have to leave the house to get anything. You could always order one online!!

Well, I know me and I know that If I will buy a GameCube, I will be stuck on one single game for ever like it happened with my GBA. It just not worth it.

Games are cheap, you should just go crazy and get em. Get some used games too insted of the new ones. Save $$$.

Thats the problem. I can't. I leave in Israel. People don't use GameCubes or Xboxes here. No renting. No used games. No borrowing from friends. The only way I can get games is to order them from amazon.

There are loads of places to get games from on the net not just amazon. If you want to know some places ask and i'll leave a list. If you can get stuff from amazon then you can get it from most places.

In Israel:
0% of the coumputer shops sells GC stuff.
100% of the coumputer shops sells PS2 stuff.
There is no way to rent GC games in Israel.
There are plenty of places for renting PS2 games in Israel.
If I download a PS2 iso I can burn it.
Even if I download GC iso, I still need to find a small empty cd.
