I did start this game as a human rogue but fucked up so I restarted as a human warrior instead. Plus I like the combat involving sword and shield in this game.

I'm also trying to bone Morrigan but I'm getting pissed with her disapproving almost every damn thing I do.

Looks like I'll prefer Diablo III when it comes out. I always prefered the Diablos to the Baldur's Gates, over a decade later and Blizzard will still win for me I think.

Well, while you sit there and wait for a broken game (since all of Blizzard's games are hugely broken, including WoW) I'll still be sitting here playing this game. Laughing and enjoying the awesomeness. Then when you do finally get to play Diablo 3 I'll be playing Mass Effect 2, ruling even more.

Well this game plays more like...what's that one game called...oh yeah Dragon Age: Origins. So to compare it to Baldur's Gate is like saying you got HIV from the holy water at a church on Jesus BBQ picnic day.

The CEO of Bioware himself called it the spiritual successor to the Baldur's gate series, and the developers kept mentioning Baldur's Gate in their previews, hense me mentioning Baldur's Gate. It checks the box for slow, dull combat just like the Baldur's Gates. It looks very nice, but looks don't make a game fun.

Blabbering useless shit doesn't make a game fun or shitty either.

Erm, I have been playing it, which is why I commented on it in the first place. If Baldur's Gate had never existed I'd still say the combat is dull, and I have every right to compare it to previous games that Bioware have made, it's got enough similar elements to them. I didn't like the combat systems in Jade Empire or Knights of the Old Republic either; I suppose that's babbling useless shit too is it?

Dragon Age looks fine and is presented very well, but I just find the combat unsatisfying. Click enemies, watch your people slowly slug away at them until they die. Sure the tactical options are there and are relatively well implemented, but I prefer a faster paced hack and slash type system. Dragon Age’s combat might be more enjoyable on consoles, I don't know how different it is. I've enjoyed other recent medieval games more, like Oblivion and Dark Messiah, and I've enjoyed much older ones more too, such as Diablo and Daggerfall even. Like I said, I predict that when it comes out I'll enjoy Diablo III more too. It's almost as if I have an opinion.

I'm unimpressed all around with DA:O graphics look shit on 360. combat is click and wait. The story is the only thing thats saving it. and it's not doing all that great of a job. I'm having more fun with Torchlight on PC at the moment.

That's exactly it. The animations are very well made though. Just looked up Torchlight, looks interesting. I'll have to try it.

I might give it a try - I dont normaly go for shit like this - but everplace you go its getting hyped and im not one to pass up a chance to play something awesome.

Well I haven't played Dragon Age yet, I downloaded it a couple days ago but haven't bothered to install it yet. Here is why I asked you if you knew what you where talking about.

First you say the PC version is for pussies. This doesn't make any sense. I guess you enjoy inferior graphics/performance/controls/everything. Maybe your PC is shit? Then you say all of Blizzard's games are broken. Well all I have really gotten into from them is Diablo 2 and Starcraft. I played a little WoW so I understand it, but I hated it. I can't really speak about WoW though since I haven't played it in years (since before there where any expansions), but I don't really think all that much is broken in Diablo 2 and Starcraft. I heard the latest patch screwed up Diablo 2 but I haven't played it because I stopped playing right before it came out. The money was always fucked up but the thing is it didn't matter. After all this you say Diablo 3 is going to be garbage. I'm not only wondering how you know this since no one has played it yet but what would even give you this idea? Like Valve (but not as much) there seems to be a certain level of quality you are guaranteed with blizzard, it may not be for you, but it's never complete shit. I can understand why people like WoW, I just don't. To top it all off, you then brag about Mass Effect 2, another game that no one has played. Now, anyone who actually plays games knows Mass Effect is a horrible game. It may be a nice technical achievement, but it is not a good game. It just isn't fun and there is really nothing good about it. (You should probably go back to school or maybe a library if you think that was a good story) It's a big expansive game full of meh. I was bored the entire way through. All the shitty bugs where making it more difficult than it should have been as well. (Had the 360 version, then tried switching to PC version when I got a PC that could run it - bugs in both) Judging by the first title, I would expect Mass Effect 2 to be garbage. I can't really say for sure though because like I said, it's not out yet, maybe it will be good so I'll give it a shot when it comes out. One thing is for certain though, fuck Mass Effect 1.

Mass Effect made me jizz my pants 7844345647896 times in one sitting and that was just the main title screen all because I don't follow or care what game magazines or websites say thus I don't religiously look like a fool by jumping the bandwagon and copy and paste everything they say.
