What are the easy songs to get a goldstar with the guitar? i know it has to do with score you have to get 1.5 score over the 5star level.

Beastie Boys "So What'Cha Want" on bass. Remember to strum up only. Only play like 2 notes over and over. Guitar is pretty easy too but the blue and orange like to sneak up ninja style.

why up only? what is the diff if you do down only or both?

The achievement/trophy for playing a song on bass on expert is strum up only. After getting that you can strum up or down.
