Alright for the Xbox 360 i was able to run a ethernet cable to my pc and click share internet connection. is this possible with a Wii with a USB to USB cable? I dont want to pay for a useless adapter if its not needed.

No, a USB cable is incapable of carrying over internet, you'll need some type of USB to Ethernet slot converter.

Yes. It is illegal. And you run the risk of bricking your Wii. But it is possible using many of the hacks, homebrew channel...

Check the thread regarding the Birck-i-ness of the wii. Putting the Twilight hack itself is not the true danger(im told) but its what you do regarding games of different regions.

Its easy just go to wehackwii.com and read around. I just sold off my wii and had over 100 gigs of files/homebrew. Once you get the homebrew channel installed, everything else is a drop in the bucket
