Entierely new CPS1 / CPS2 stuff:

- CPS2 doesn't use VMM now, which means faster loadings. Moreover, like on PC builds,
decryption algo is supported (Xor are now useless). And of course emulation improvements...

New Neogeo code:

entierely rewrote, this is exactly the code of latest FBA with Xbox inprovements.
Gogoackman's VMM is still used, but in a different way:
the emu will autodetect if we have enough memory to store the game in RAM, if it's not the case
the sprite data will be stored on HDD. At the second run of a game, sprite data will be load
read directly from the HDD, which produce a hell of loading speedup. For games which doesn't use VMM,
that's mean sometimes a loading time 70% shorter than before.
Data are saved in "savedRoms" directly, take care for the space that's use!!!

Still need to finish the code, you will have a crash with the biggest games released after 1999!
It affects Metal Slug 3, Samurai Shodown 5 for example. If you get a crash with a game,
look if a bootleg of that game is avaible, it will works...

Great work updating one of my fav emulators. Really excited to check it out. Thanks alot. I would also like to see a fullset on sky at some point, or atleast an update from 1.28. Looks like alot has changed with the set.

G-Loc wasn't playable in MAME until 0.90 I think (Maybe 0.91), so unless a port is made from source no older than that, it's not gonna happen.
I'm not sure, but I don't think straight adding the driver will work either, as the MAME core was changed after mid .80. You'd have to alter the driver to reflect these changes I bet. Not simple work.

G-LOC was working in a previous FBA-XXX Pro build, but with a low framerate (40fps). I don't know if we can speed up this, and honestly i'm absolutly not interested to work on it lol ph34r.gif

Great work kenshiro, i got a question for you on this new release, i tired out biomechanical toy and got nasty graphic glithes, anyone else have any trouble with this? Everything else i threw at it ran great!!

Also kenshiro, itd be cool to get bonk's adventure back into this, rail chase, galaxy force II, power drift were in other builds of your old fba-xx bets , iq fixed the fps problem with bonk's adventure, power drift, rail chase ran ok just wasnt keymapped, you could shoot with the start button though.

Also i spoke to iq about the arm-based emulation lets hope he gets aroud to it as it could possibly mean night slashers and osman/canon dancer playable on xbox as well.

As far as your new stuff its lookin good banana balls! smile.gif

- First i would like to thank my two friends Bonky0013 (registered here with the name Bonk) and Garcimak. They were the two first testers, and they put a lot of time in it, and also a lot of support thumbsup.gif

Garcimak wrote some moves files for the emu (mind to post them here lol) and Bonky was extremely active with his CPS2 dump like Mighty! Pang (Euro 001010), Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (Euro 980123), Capcom Sports Club (Rent Version)...

So thanks for all guys, i'm waiting for some news as i didn't see you since a while unsure.gif

- +T+ , the creator of FBA-XXX Pro, as he done an incredibly work and i assume he put a lot of free time in it thumbsup.gif
Moreover the few times i spoke with him he had always be cool, and seems to be pretty nice and also modest thumbsup.gif

I don't know what to say lol, he's just an very nice and modest guy, just look at the changelog to have an idea of the number of drivers he wrote recently blink.gif , FBA-XXX Pro is mostly based on his work...
That's by reading iq's code (drivers, tools etc...) that i learned C basics , and started to really know what i'm doing lol.

I noticed that too about BioMechanical toy...
Something weird happened with my tmnt(world and japan) rom: it was working, but just after I delete the old saves and ini files, the rom stuck in a mask rom check screen huh.gif
the neogeo bios file 000-lo.lo always send a size error message no matter what (64kb? or 128kb?)
I need an accurate list of all games in this fba version... the gamelist in fba source is already outdated... any help?

Why would I care about it running in any other emu than fba-xxx and coin-ops?
It's not the first time I've ported a game/cpu simply because I wanted to see it in a particular emulator.

So seams like Night Slashers will be quite a chalenge for you naughty.gif )(pac-man ,Mr do! , funny bubble - great games) .All I was asking that you look at some code and see if its posible to optimize it for xbox memory........ But as i sayed before - I wish you good luck and hope we see original NS on xbox soon (with all its mame bugs - but thats other story porting working drivers and writing unemuleted games drivers)
So please - stop talking about it just do it - cause im big fan of this game wink.gif

No problem for Kaneko16 drivers, i gonna readd it. Same for Sega drivers...

BTW Tulius you're absolutly right, i noticed the same problems. Currently i'm not at home, i maybe have an idea on the reasons for TMNT (for biomtoy, absolutly no idea lol).

Honestly, not really. The ARM cpu is a 32-bit cpu as is the m68ec020 (silkroad, etc).

It's easy. Especially since Osman will only take ~25mb of ram and Night Slashers is about the same. I'm more concerned with the xbox's extremely shat processor.

Just solved the tmnt bug deleting again the ini folder, save folder(ffff0405) and overwriting default.xbe again
If anyone see a inverted screen in shadow warriors, just flip screen in dipswitch option is enought to solve it.
Kiling Blade stucks(crash) in please wait screen

Some PGM drivers are yet not supported in this version? Knights of Valor2 and Martial Masters dont appears in rom menu ph34r.gif
Double Dragon driver will be included anytime soon?

Kov2 & martial masters require an additional cpu that isn't emulated atm in fba.

Honestly, it performs very poorly at some tasks, but at others it really surprises me.
