I didnt give my whole list a 9-10, I just posted the ones that I saw from start to finish, trust me, I've seen more, these are just the ones that I actually finished, and I only like mecha animes with realism or some what(i.e. gundam: 8th ms team) gundam wing I liked because of heavy arms.

Oh sorry since you wrote "mechs/love/drama/comedy" I thought you meant all those types. Not put together in one.
Well Eureka Seven fits that perfectly, love, mecha, drama, comedy. Code Geass fits it even more I think.

I've seen Eureka Seven, but like I said, I like mecha to have some what realism, I mean come on, on the show the damn things where surfboarding, I thought it was mecha-goku on the flying nimbus, and Code Geass(which I just checked out on you tube) reminds me too much of Gundam Wing.

OH SNAP! YOu too!?
I thought i was friggin crazy! When i first saw this on tv, im like, "MAN! how many versions of Gundam are they gonna make?"
BUt i like the way he stratagizes his attacks, kinda reminds of Deathnote too.
IM ALL OVER SOUL EATER NOW!
This is my fav anime right now, and i jus love watchin it.
Naruto ship and bleach are doin the eaxct same thing which is puttin a whole 25 mins of staring or talking and a couple of hits then all of a sudden something happens!!! then next episode.
But yea, Soul Eater is cool!
Its like saying, "NAruto....THIS IS how you do it!"

Tynvar already picked off most of what I'd have said.
I'll just add something I watched most recently which was Macross Frontier. It fits into all those genres of mechs/love/drama/comedy pretty nicely. There's a ton of singing so if that kind of thing puts you off then you may not like it. I liked it though, they blended the singing in with the mech fights pretty well and the story behind it was reasonable and for the most part it worked. I can only think of 1 episode of it where the singing was poorly used.

For some reason Macross has always been about singing. It's just a big part as mechas are. It sometimes bothers me but overall it's not bad.

The death note movie was good but a little corny, so I would imagine the anime would be better suited for the corny parts, I've only seen the live action movie of initial d and liked it, so the anime might be alright, haven't seen devil may cry.

Thats what happens to all the good animes! Take Dragon Ball for example, HOLY CRAP, so many things happens, you see so much, but after the damn raditz saga in dbz all they do it talk, same reason why the gundam series has started to bore me.

I've never actually seen the show but from what I've seen in the movie version I didn't care much for it. I did buy a manga copy once and liked it though,

I noticed 2eyez mentioned Berserk. That is one of my favorite animes of all time! It may not fit the criteria you mentioned but it is really worth seeing. The manga is also amazing. It’s actually a lot better than the anime as it covers WAY more of the story, and some of the best stuff that happens in the series happens once the anime ends. (imo)
If you are looking for a heavier anime, with a serious plot, great characters and a lot of action you should definitely check out Berserk!

If you don't mind subs, fundimation has FMA Brotherhood online.
It's more accurate to the manga, and has a different set of Japanese VA's
There is a new episode every week, or at least it's aimed at that.
