Please ignore my low posting activity.
Recently my 25 year old brother lent me his Wii for a long while, considering that he's too busy playing Fable II and Dead Space to even dust off his Wii. Since this is all I have, I have researched methods of playing Wii backups without a modchip. There was a thread posted about this weeks ago, but this Wii ISO Loader actually works, it might not be compatible with all games, but I've gotten a game to work with it, (No More Heroes).
So no, I don't have an Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3, but I do have a Wii that allows me to play backups, whoopdi.

Great. Is this a program or some kind of "other" trick?
EDIT: Going by the name, it's a program right?

Yes, it is a homebrew application, only applicable in the Homebrew channel.

It's not *only* applicable through the homebrew channel, but its certainly alot easier. "from what I've heard"

There's an updated version due out in November which will have increased loading speeds as well as less jerky fmv.

I'm considering seizing my burning trials, I've had some early experiences with burning games. So far, over 300 PS2 games have been burned, I'm becoming fed up with the exuberance of game errors like loading times and skipping.
Only if I can possibly run Wii games from an external Hard Drive, will I continue pirating.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXLG2QNBmXgso your telling me this will work just by adding the homebrew channel and Wii Gator? no opening the console or crap?

There's some trouble with speed and vids in game. I would not try out yet, I read about some bricks in some of the spanish sites Wanikoko posts in.

Those people probably got their Wii's bricked because they didn't follow directions.

Just for feeding my brain, for possible later use, can you UNbrick a Wii if you chip it? Wait, a first question for that to even be possible, are there modchips for the Wii? (I don't mean DRIVEchips, I mean actual modchips)

There are modchips, there's WiiKey, a rather popular one. As far as unbricking goes I have no knowledge in that department.

Not 100% sure but I think you can with a custom boot disk that installs a firmware. I think it depends on the chip. No chip you're basically screwed. But then there's no point on messing with the Loader if you have a chip. Just stay away from updates.

That's stellar, I'm guessing the Modchip has a higher compatibility percentage.
