Wow I had no idea the list was so large! Huh... some of those I have never heard of! Guess I'm not a big a fan as I thought I was. I actually want to get a Saturn, now I have more than 1 reason.

He forgot a last 2D title:

- Wolffang (Xing Entertainment)

and there are the last shooters:

- After Burner 2 (Sega) 3D Bitmap
- Galaxy Force 2 (Sega) 3D Bitmap
- G-Vector (Soft Office) 3D
- Sky Target (Sega) 3D

and maybe Prikura Daisakusen which is a Marchen Maze like from STV System wink.gif .

Because they are all 3D and not really classed as 'shmups'. It basically has to be top-down perspective 2D to qualify. The likes of those mentioned and say, Rez, would be considered borderline at best.

Wow, you just answered before I could edit my post. You're right, except for WolFang which is in good old 2D !

This one is known as "Rohga: Armor Force" in Arcade !
