Full Version: Great article for Sega Saturn shooters/shmups.
Wow I had no idea the list was so large! Huh... some of those I have never heard of! Guess I'm not a big a fan as I thought I was. I actually want to get a Saturn, now I have more than 1 reason.

and there are the last shooters:
- After Burner 2 (Sega) 3D Bitmap

.Because they are all 3D and not really classed as 'shmups'. It basically has to be top-down perspective 2D to qualify. The likes of those mentioned and say, Rez, would be considered borderline at best.
