with thunderforce6 coming to ps2 and raiden4 coming to 360,its looking good for shooters.

Wow, the Australian OFLC was the first to rate it. A lot of the other shooters went NTSC-J only, but I guess this means I will at least be getting this, whatever 'Dimensions' turns out to be.

I like the R-Type shooters, Except the command one on PSP.

this will get a world-wide release by the looks of things and rtype tactics was a bad idea period.
they should have just ported rtype final to the psp,i love the ps2 version but a turn based version of rtype had fail written all over it.

I ended up buying it and it's almost worth the 1200 MS points.

It has R-Type 1 & 2 on it. The new 3d crazy camera is kinda weird.

question-i bought this yesterday as well but how on earth do you get the camera to pan round in that weird angle?
i put it onto the crazy option but it dosent matter what i press nothing happens.
i do like the dfferent filters with the classic 2d options like the 8bit style,this was worth the points.

The 3D crazy camera needs to be set before you start the game (R1 or R2). AND if you push Y to change it back to the old graphics it re-sets the camera.

thanks i got it figured out in the end that crazy camera angle takes a lot of getting used to.

got this yesterday, 3D graphics have been added very tastefully IMO, could have made the game look weird but didnt. R-type is still fun as ever

the 3d graphics in this are awsome but slight problem i have with it though is if you play it in 2d i find the graphics look very grainy maybe i should mess around with the apect ratio settings for widescreen.
gotta love that crazy camera angle though.

Meh... Played the demo, but I've grown so bored of things. At least in R-Type Final, I had 100 ships to unlock.

ive never really been into rtype final so much as i always preferred rtype delta on the ps1,probably the best rtype everIMHO!

My favorite R-type was LEO in the arcades!

It doesn't have the pods but I can't really use them anyways
