--> Read the article and their comments for each game on their list.

I'd say God of War II doesn't belong in the #1 spot and is probably only there because it's a recent game. At the same time, I haven't really played any of these games, so I'd be the wrong person to comment on this one. I'd like to know your thoughts on their list though. tongue.gif
BlackKnight
GoW2 should get out of #1. Silent Hill 2 should be bumped up, and GTA:VC, FFXII and Black should get off the list altogether.

I've only played maybe 7-8 of these myself, mostly their Xbox counterparts too. I use different consoles for different types of games, so I never play a big range of games/genres on just one platform. PS2/DC I would mostly use for shooters (like R-Type, Raiden not FPS), so most of these I will never play.

Why 36 anyway? Is it due to the fact that there are a million 'best of' lists already and this is the only way remaining to differentiate between them biggrin.gif

VC is indisputably deserving of at least a top 36 place. Maybe it's just the 80s theme that gets me but come on!

I agree on some some games but they are at the wrong places. We debated on this similiar issue before ex: best fight game, best rpg, best action, etc...So to put the top 36 games in a list is a joke It's just a way for gamepro to attract buyers.
Devia Eleven
Many of them should be removed.
Agozer
Okami should take the place of Vice City if you ask me, and other games nee dthier grade bumped too. All in all though, I think it is a good list.

I should pick up both Psi-Ops and Freedom Fighters.
JKKDARK
That is a decent list for me. But these Lego games are terrible.
Smilee
Eh, out of all the games that I've played there, I enjoyed GOW2 the most.
GodPigeon
Black is God Awful
AkihiroZi
Looking at the list makes me wonder if these people even played some of those games.

I wouldn't say it's god awful, but it has tons of issues, and some of them make you want to beat the developers with a baseball bat.
GodPigeon
I certainly couldnt stomach that game for too long at all.

Don't blame the developers, they just wanted to make the "Star" of the game the "guns".

No Gitaroo-Man? No Guilty Gear X2? This list is crap. GoW2 needs to be taken off since GoW1 is behind it.
