Has a slight Nemesis graphical look to it but I definately can't wait for this game to come out.

So far from all the trailers I've seen Hulk, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, Captain America, The Human Torch, The Thing, and The Invisible Woman are apparently announced.

TBH, I played the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I thought the game was garbage. The game play reminded me of the old SNES days (i.e. Captain America and the Avengers). It got boring quick. I also did not like the "over the head" display used in the game. I only went through about 2 or 3 levels in the game before I decided to return it.

Perhaps #2 will change my mind.

You can't play MUA alone and enjoy it much (the only time I spent alone playing it was when I was grinding my characters).

You need Live and a room full of 4 players to get this one on the enjoy side, or 3 controllers and 3 buddies with 3 days of nothing to do .

I was actually playing the game with a few friends. We all agreed that it was causing us significant boredom beyond belief.

I hope I don't burst anyone's bubble with my thoughts on this game.

I agree with Gamecop's opinion on this one. Not so much that the game is garbage, it's pretty decent in my opinion. However, it does get pretty boring quick due to the fact of its repetition and monotony. For me, it seems like every character share some skills with their buffs and their last skills being anything notably different. The stages seemed to drag on and it does get boring to fight the enemies. I think the half of the game was just me being dr strange and sending people to their deaths with telekinesis and my friend throwing enemies off the edge because it was faster. Hope the 2nd one improves on this.

I enjoyed and played the living sh!t out of MUA. Still play it.

THe game lacked that certain long-term differnt style.
Sure i had fun playing it, but i couldn't see myself having more fun playing it over since most of the chars's moves were different in a little way.
I actually only used dr strange and mr fantastic cuz thier moves were kind unique, They just had little more to offer after the XML.
I HOPE....WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!! that these guys didnt make the exact same style/engine as the first one but just put these new characters and fusion abilities into it and call it a new game!

I liked the last one, kinda like baulders gate but superheros instead of D&D stereo types.

I prefer X-Men 2: Apocalypse Reign. Maybe because I like X-men characters better.

Eh, X-Men 2 was alright. Greatly better than the first one mainly cuz I could not stand Magma and hated that I had to wait later in the game to unlock Gambit. Definately a plus that Deadpool was playable once you beat the game. And Godly Ironman once you collected his armor. Professor X was crap boring.

I still think Deadpool's popularity rised cuz of the first MUA.

Deadpool was alright. I just couldn't connect with it since I did not read about his story ever.

You should. It's the greatest of all. I did love how they improved him from X2 to MUA. Merc's Revenge, Dual Pistol, and Battle Cry is ungodly.

I feel like going back and playing all three now.

Spiderman: Friend or Foe was complete trash, don't play it.

Justice League Heroes is average, but X-Men Legends was better.

I'm in the middle of aquiring the original on the xbox coz I never got it after Legends 2. I like both Legends 1 & 2 so I'm sure I'll like Ultimate Alliance. Unless they ruinate the sequel I'll like that too.

I still need to know if Songbird does replace Ms. Marvel. Because if so =

Gambit was added to the Xbox (not 360) and PC versions of MUA1 through modification.

Like Wizard was saying gambit, angel, hulk, ironfist, war machine, colossus were added to xbox and some to ps2 not all characters can be in one game due to lack of slots.

Check marvelmods especially if you have the pc version lots of character mods.

there have got to be more characters for this game, especially since its based on the 616 civil war storyline, perhaps some villians and more x men (such as Bishop, who was pro registration) as well as Ms Marvel and Spider Woman

and im looking forward to alternate costume/swaps as well, im pretty sure one of Iron Fist costumes is gonna be DareDevil

id also love to see Ronin/hawkeye

I bet you'll be able to buy extra characters after release. I'd ike to see the Punisher.

the fusions r starting to look stale,(throw cards on rock that venom picks up and then throws it down...just the same as human torch/hulk).

As the sequel gets closer to being released, I finally get round to playing the original.

I'm still going to play this when I get the chance. However, I find everything too "sticky" at the moment with the graphics. His moves are fluent. The floating cards looked better than he did.

The developers aren't making the characters look "cool". The purpose behind their designs of the characters is to make them look like if they were in the real world. The developers have stated almost everytime they show a new character that they want to get away from the spandex look in the comics of old. I've been reading alot of the textures they use on characters and they have been getting very creative.

So, is that a good thing or a bad thing? i can't decide. I am all for realism but i will always have fond memories of my superheroes and villians in spandex.

The developers know this and have stated there will be alternate costumes. More than likely will be the original spandex outfits.

Yes his hair is stupid, but it's also his face that looks wrong too. Cover his whole head and you're ok.

Most fans aren't particular about making them more realistic. They don't want "real world" situations. That's why they're into the comics in the first place.

I can't wait for marvel mods to get their hands on this but it will be awhile but any new mods come out. I'll probably get the pc ver this time since the old xbox is dead wood. It was fun using ironfist, gambit, angel, hulk and collossus with the mods.

The only problem I have with his hair is that it's blond. Gambit has always been a brunette. Where they came up with the blonde thing, I don't know. I don't have a problem with his Cajun face since I've always known him to have that face. And his eyes have always been black with the pink/purple pupils.

There's plenty of pictures showing how different all the x-men have been drawn. I wouldn't read anything there though. It's not particularly coherent, and I don't think in any real order.
